A surprise and a hit as Christmas gift for my student daughter. She somehow craves le crueset even though she is some way off being able to afford her own. This little set provides her first step and in her favourite colour range. She is using to serve her dinner in and is smitten. Good all round use for a single person and I imagine for using as small serving dishes for a few people.

I have been using Le Creuset for .any years. I love the cookware and bakeware. I have been switching my countertop items to the new "nectar" color. I needed a butter dish but there was not one in ne tar (I am sure one is coming) so I decided to try this delightful dish. I am so happy with it that I do not plan on changing it even when a different butter dish comes along. I plan to get another to use for a sugar bowl!
Made the chicken pot pie recipe from the mini coquette cookbook. Delicious! Could have gotten the larger size or more coquettes as I had extra pot pie filling.
I'm honestly surprised at the relatively low rating for this item. It is one of my favorite kitchen items I've ever purchased. It's so cute and a great size (assuming you know what size it is before you buy it). I was looking for something this size to use as a salt well, and this works perfectly! I've also purchased the matching flower spoon rest. I love how unique but simple it is. Great quality and easy to wash. Just make sure you're buying the size you need, and you'll be happy!
I ordered this mini cocotte during a sale so I didn't think too much about the low price. I ordered it expecting it to be small but like single-serving small. When it arrived, I opened the lighter-than-expected box and was absolutely astonished by how tiny this was! It fits in the palm of my hand! I kept it because it made me giggle. And, it really is beautiful. Will most likely use it to hold salt or something similar.
