Le Labo Basil Body Cream 250ml

Not only does this moisturize exceptionally well but the scent is beautiful. Unisex and so pleasant. To me it’s unique scent as I’ve never seemed anything like it. Definitely in my top 3 body creams and a pure treat.

Obsessed. This smells SO good I always get a million compliments when I put it on. And the scent from the lotion actually lasts!! If I put it on before bed I love that my sheets will smell like it. This scent in particular is a super sexy scent

Amazing quality, but the smell is not for me.

This body cream is amazing quality. It's very rich and creamy and sinks into the skin without any greasiness or residue. The scent is SO strong and lasts for hours after applying, it even transfers onto clothes. The scent is a very masculine and woody - it's beautiful but not what I want to smell like all the time, so I only use this cream sometimes. I wish it came in the basil scent! Still, 5 stars because it's a very good quality product.

Amazing scent, luxurious feel

This is a rich, unctuous cream and definitely one to apply on damp skin. It has that desirable ‘waxy’ quality to it that acts as a barrier to keep moisture in. If you have dry skin in winter like I do, you’ll appreciate that. As other reviewers have noted, the scent is incredible. I would say the dominant smell to me is woody/herbal with a musky base note. Really lovely and original.

I have so many things to say about this product

Firstly, I hate the smell. I didn't know it was meant to smell like icing until I read reviews. It used to smell like coffee a couple of years ago so somethings happened there. It smells a bit like my dogs shampoo mixed with the chemical smell of hospitals. BUT I deal with it because this is the only product I have EVER used that gives instant relief to razor burn. The eczema on my hands? Gone within a day. If they sorted out that scent it would be perfect. My tip is to used the Sol De Janeiro body wash before this product because it's scent overpowers the frank one.

Incredible

Absolutely addicted to this having been bought it a few months ago. The scent is amazing- fresh but woody and almost subtly spicy. Lasts so long, could easily go without perfume. Really moisturising without being greasy. Doesn't trigger my eczema/sensitive skin despite being so fragranced. Won't go without it now! OBSESSED

Long lasting unisex scent

Beautiful scent that lasts all day. I love using le labo moisturisers as they always hold their scent and are good alternative to splurging on the perfume (although I don’t think this specific scent exists in perfume form). Delicious and has a unique, woody, musky unisex smell.

Perfect for bedtime

I love this stuff. I discovered it with a sample that I used at bedtime. The scent is pretty strong at first but it’s pleasant and didn’t bother my allergies at all. The next day my skin felt soft smelled so pleasant. Immediately ordered the full size. Packaging looks nice on my bedside table too. Highly recommend.

Super rich and nourishing hydration

I love Le Labo grooming products so I had to try this body cream out. Its perfect for winter as I found it highly moisturising without being greasy, I usually shower and moisturise in the evening and I find my skin still feels hydrated in the morning. Definitely going to get a second pot.

Worth the extra

I know this is expensive for a body lotion but it's a great little treat to yourself. It smells beautiful, it melts in to your skin and leaves it silky. I will definitely repurchase
