I love this new release form le labo. It's so cozy and relaxing. Like snuggling on the couch in front of the fire with a cashmere throw. I'm not sure if one of the other reviewers knows what real frankincense and clove actually smells like, because this candle really does smell like both, and not at all like an old lady perfume. In fact it's very unisex leaning more masculine. Also layers really well with the verveine!

Ive repurchased so many of these candles over the years and Santal 26 is definitely my favourite. The scent is incredible (particularly for the autumn/winter months) and I love the jar which I clean out as use as a tumblers afterwards (they have that lovely heaviness to them perfect for a whiskey or a gin - I have quite a collection now!) The sent really fills the room and it always burns evenly. Any left over wax I cut up and use as wax melts. Pricey but a lovely treat!

The fragrance(Calone 17) is lovely but for such an expensive candle I’d have expected better quality. The label was slightly peeling off when it arrived and after just a few burns the wick splits each time and the side of the glass is scorched despite the candle remaining on one level surface and the wick having been trimmed. Probably won’t repurchase which is a shame as I really do love the scent.
This candle is gorgeous. The packaging is absolute luxury and it would make a beautiful present for anyone. I treated myself to it after smelling it in a spa and I’m so glad I did. I cannot believe how strong the fragrance is, it fills the whole room and lasts! I’ve never had a candle like it. The scent is beautiful and I light this every day and it lasts well.
The smell that comes from this is something else. Strong enough to fill my whole flat but light enough not to give me a banging headache. It’s divine. Even after the day after I can still smell it. Will forever continue to buy this candle it’s worth the money. Although I do normally save my cult points to purchase it
I was a bit hesitating before purchase this product, but it turns out that Le labo never let you down! I literally purchased another candle as soon as I received this one. As the smell is just amazing! The size is moderate given the price comparing to the many others on the market. BUT, not to worry, the fragrance spread quicker than you’d expect, even it’s not burning. Previously I have been using H&M HOME candles, Diptyque, the white company, and Byredo, I’d say would defo switch to Le labo candles moving forward.
Wish this was cheaper, I'd have 10 dotted around the home. Smells as good as you hoped it would! Lasted a good while too. Also brought one for my daughter who adored the smell of this. Strong enough to smell when you walk in the door a day after burning it. Everything I want from a candle
I had heard great things about Le Labo and specifically about this particular scent. I could never justify the price tag, but got a gift card and decided it was time to pull the trigger. Upon receiving the candle, the label was a little off, peeling up at the corner.. but nothing awful. I smelled the candle before burning and thought it was nice but VERY faint. After burning, it did fill up my space (although I live in an apartment). However, it burns horribly! For an almost $80 candle, I expect the throw to be better and especially the burn. It is already tunneling after a few burns (I also cut the wick before every use), which is ridiculous. Overall, the smell is nice, but I do not think the value matches the price tag.
I got the xmas set with the figue, palo santal and a petitgrain kind of summery scent. I loved all the scents but I have to say the design of the candles was flawed. The narrower top is hard to light as the candle burns down and the wick seems to be in a pretty high holder so there is a bit of wax left in the bottom that is hard to get out and impossible to burn. If that is an issue it may turn you off buying as I loved the scent a lot - this is one of the few candles with a definite fruity smell (the diptyque is more creamy green fig and subtler) that I actually liked and it has a good throw. Even the mini one filled the room and the wax doesnt take forever to melt across like some brands do but it is not the best to re use as it is hard to clean and not the most ...
