Le Labo Santal 33 Shower Gel 237ml

Honestly the scent of this product is the most invigorating, unique, and lasting fragrance I’ve used. This makes for an excellent daily body wash, or a soothing bath. It’s an earthy type of floral scent, almost a little like a soft, feminine cologne. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because it’s very disproportionately priced when you compare the size to the cost. It’s double the size of a airplane sized travel product, but costs more than a mini bottle of Jo Malone perfume 🤷🏻‍♀️

I started using Another13 when it came out as a limited edition and you could only buy one of 300 bottles on elizabeth street or Madison Barney’s rip! At the time I loved loved the scent and at 350 a bottle I should! But it started to get on my nerves so I just used it to spray laundry that was dirty and should smell cleaner (hahaha my younger days in NY with no washer) so now the scent reminds me of my dirty clothes so I can’t wear it but it’s a fabulous warm scent if you love Gaiac10 and Santal. I would prefer to wear this scent as a edp however and not a body wash because it’s so warm and not fresh. But objectively this is really strong smelling and moisturizing so it completes the assignment

I have the full size of this product. The packaging is sleek and looks great on the countertop. The fragrances themselves smell amazing and are perfect for a bath ritual. The scents linger on the skin for a few hours too which is a nice perk if you enjoy fragrances. The texture is what you’d expect of any high end shower gel, smooth to the touch and runny but not sticky.

I don’t have the oil but have the body wash, lotion, and EDP). I bought the body wash and the lotion in hopes that layering them would help the perfume last longer. I had high hopes because someone said on a Nordstrom review that they used the body wash and the oil and they don’t even need the perfume. Sadly, I can’t smell the body wash after I’ve washed it off and it doesn’t leave a lingering scent in my bathroom (Like Jo Malone). The lotion is nice for a few minutes and the EDP is nice for maybe 30 minutes to an hour max. I would definitely not repurchase this body wash or the lotion. People compare this scent to Xerjoff Nio so I’m going to try that before repurchasing another bottle.

Amazing all around

This scent is AMAZING. While it doesn't lather up as much as other brands, it DOES leave a lingering smell on your body after you are finished with your bath or shower. I'll keep ordering as long as Le Labo keeps manufacturing it along with the deodorant.

Disappointing

This is the only scent I use in spray, so thought it was a no brainer to get the body wash.. This smells nice in the bottle, but zero scent transfers to the skin. Zero. I wish I would have read the reviews before hand. Not good and really disappointing.

Lingering delight

I purchase this to complete my fragrance collection of Santal 33. It definitely is worth every dollar spent. I use this in shower, followed by body lotion and one or two sprays of perfume. I get compliments all day long. Def one of my favourites.

Love the smell from the bottle, but not on me.

Wanted to love this product as Santal 33 has been my go-to. The EDP was a bit too strong for my taste, but I prefer the body lotion’s staying power (they offer it on the Le Labo main site, for reference). I thought I would maximize by layering the shower gel and lotion. However, I tried the shower gel alone and I asked my husband, daughter and mother to see if the scent lingered. My daughter said it was very faint, but nothing that would make her notice. I based my purchase off of reviews and feel I shouldn’t double up on the lather, as it is a smaller sized bottle that would run out very quickly. Will be sadly returning.

This is my Favorite scent!

This is my Favorite scent by Le Labo! Its definitely different but that is Le Labo. I am not a fan off the fan favorites, you know the ones that all the influencers wear. I have the Ylang oil and fragrance and this is the icing on the cake! Lasts on my skin with or without the others. Its fresh and lovely! Definitely Uni but I can see women really loving the florals in this. A good buy if you dont want to drop the $$$ on the fragrances.

Three stars because of price

This is a lovely body wash which I bought to try out the Santal 33 scent. I usually buy Aesop which is a lot better value for money for the amount you get. This bottle is small for the price so probably won’t buy again. It is a luxury!
