Ok. Sooo....no one ever mentioned this would smell so similar to Bianco Latte/Lattafa Eclaire. I mean not exactly but def a similar DNA. I know it has a cult following and it does smell good but it's not super special. Def sweet, def a wee bit creamy one has a somewhat sour note too. Good to get a sample and I'll def use it but won't be repurchasing

I bought this fragrance while in Nordstrom after Christmas 2023. It is absolutely my favorite perfume. It lingers long after you can't smell it on you and I get so many compliments! Strangers, colleagues even patients always tell me "Wow you smell so good!" They want to know what I am wearing. I tell the Le Labo! I am not dressed until I have put this fragrance on. It is not overpowering, but it is alluring, and I always feel sexy, fresh and ready to start my 12 hour shift at work or when I go out with my husband. Love it! #iamafan

Matcha 26 is uniquely divine! If you are looking for a fragrance that is different and will demand compliments from everyone around you than this is it.definitelt unisex but steers more fem for me, great longevity and will stay on your clothes for hours and hours, become a skin scent after about 4-6 hours BUT also not sure if im just nose blind by then.The dry down is the most beautiful woodsy, creamy fig. I’ve been wearing this through winter but will 100% wear it through summer too as I feel it will perform even better in the heat and on warm skin!

I sampled this on a paper strip when it first came out and finally caved and bought it. First, I’m surprised by how much I like this scent. On me it’s fig-forward with a light floral note (not white floral, which I can’t stand) and doesn’t smell anything like matcha. Overall, a delicate creamy scent that leans more feminine. There are some similarities in the dry down to Thé Noir, which I also own, but Matcha is lighter and brighter while Noir is smoky. Not too strong, which is my preference, and no weird “sharp” notes as it dries down. I will be alternating between the two Thés this fall and winter!

I have been collecting fragrances for some time but never had anything from Le Labo, and instead of trying the popular or more common ones, I decided to try Matcha 26.Overall, it is a great fragrance, unique when spraying but not overbearing. People will notice it when they are in your circle.Just watch out for the dry down. You will have to reapply throughout the day. That's why I think the small size is perfect, but not worth the price for the bigger bottles.
I’ve been on the hunt for a signature fragrance forever and just can’t seem to find one until I spritzed this on my wrist today. It’s unexpected how complex it is at first you think it’s not very strong but then it’s a low enveloping scent that only someone close to you would really appreciate. To me this smells like green fig and a little bit of powdery finish in there and a tiny bit of spice I’m assuming peppercorn. This will wear well on a woman or a man. Going back to buy the bottle after work!
I’m surprised that this fragrance is not getting as much love as it should be!I was on the hunt for a wedding fragrance and I couldn’t stop thinking about The Matcha when I went for a consultation at Mecca.It is such a unique, refreshing and light scent. It’s not too sweet and is honestly what I think is the perfect fragrance. It would be lovely to wear for any occasion and in a way I’m glad that not everyone loves it so that not everyone knows about it!
This is my second le labo scent (first one was santal 33) and this is the best one yet! I’ve been wearing it every day for the past 2 weeks and I’ve never got these many compliments from so many people! I had a client of mine ask me what perfume I was wearing because I “smelled so good and expensive” haha and it was 8 hours after I sprayed it on myself. Super long lasting! I’m in loooove! Such a good every day, signature perfume!
I was excited to try this after seeing so many great reviews on it but it was not what I expected. I was expecting a light fresh woody scent but it was extremely strong and almost musky. I personally do not like strong perfume. I would not describe this as a light fresh scent. One spray and I was overwhelmed and my husband even said it was nauseating.I was so disappointed to return it but just wasn’t for me.
