Leaf & Bean - Electric Espresso Maker 3 Cup

The Leaf & Bean coffee made in this machine is the best cup I have made. It is a bit smaller than I expected but we are already used to a smaller amount due to the perfect flavour. Must be the water temp is just right for the size of the sieve.

Best purchase

This was perfect for my husbands work that did not have a stove so being electric was optimal. So easy to use and you can take it anywhere with you. Best purchase

Cheap & nasty

I bought this recently online and received a light weight aluminium and plastic top machine which takes a few times to make it work. The machine this too light to sit on the electrical component properly, the on/off button does not click well. The plastic top is very cheap plastic and disappointing. It would have been better made of glass as this would be heavier, and not leave a plastic smell after brewing.

Does the job...just

Does the job but only just. It is quite cheaply made with a plastic top reservoir and lets quite a bit of grounds sediment into the reservoir. If you only want to make a single cup (between a short and long black) it will suffice. Convenient if you aren't much into your coffee, but disappointing if you appreciate a good cup.

Great little espresso maker.

An excellent little coffee maker. Very quick to hear the water and make coffee. Light weight, portable and convenient. Makes coffee as good as any percolator and much faster. Perfect for the office.

Happy to try something new

Pro: Easy to clean, operate & no huge space required! Coffee taste pending on beans used! But overall happy about the taste! Con: had aluminium smell first time using it! A bit of plastic feel with it!

MUST HAVE ELECTRIC ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE

Brilliant...makes delicious coffee without having to use stove. Easy to maintain, keep clean. double filtering cup pressurises the coffee to a temperature you average manual coffee machine can make without using needed bench space..LOVE IT THANKYOU....

Not up to the expectation

The top jar is made out of low quality plastic and tend have scratch marks soon with washing. It is understood that it is an expresso maker but preferred it little bigger.

Perfect easy coffee making

I love this little machine. Have made coffee on a stove top for many years, this is so much better! Quicker, much more efficient, I am using less coffee, it is much Safer, it will turn itself off, and I am not worrying about the heat off the stove top and the heat of the coffee machine as I get older and more forgetful. One down side, the top section of the machine is plastic, I am nor sure how robust this would be if I dropped in on the tiled floor, however, the clear plastic means you can see when the coffee is made

I was reluctant to buy this as there's not much information on the website. If it had the capacity (100ml) in the description, I wouldn't have bought it at all. This thing is tiny, it feels like it belongs in a doll's house. If it was twice the size, it would be a better product. The filter is aluminium, not stainless steel, and it's impossible to get out of the machine without getting your hands covered in coffee grounds. I don't know why, but the power stays on until you remove the pot from the power base, it would be much safer if it shut off at the end of the boil. I shudder to think what could happen if you put the coffee on and forget about it for an hour.
