I am a fan of legos and grew up with them. The instructions are clear and the set is great. Of course I am a harry potter fan. I am 63 years old and totally love to do legos, especially harry potter sets. This product was just the same quality I have always seen from legos company. I was very pleased with this set.

We love everything Harry Potter! This set is difficult to find reasonably priced being to biggest drawback. What a great addition to the Lego Harry Potter world! The details are dated but fun and surprising! We hope Lego adds to the set in the future.. maybe the weasley brothers shop or hogsmeade would be fantastic!!
Love the Harry Potter Diagon Alley set. My son always wanted one and I was excited to be able to gift a set that seemed like he was the first to open it. The legos pieces were placed in sealed bags identical to a new set. The manuals and box were in excellent shape. The magic continues for another Harry Potter fan!
Thank you for sending the great set, But very disappointed that 6 pieces where missing which meat we had to shop around local stores to purchase them. Would have been nice to know pieces where missing for such an expensive set Again very disappointed.
I admit, I have a hard time with the price of Lego sets. My 9 year old son used a bunch of birthday gift cards to obtain this one. However, it was nicely organized in bags marked 1 -3, to correspond with the 3 instruction manuals for each of the Diagon Alley shops. I convinced him to not rush through and enjoy one building at a time. The set came with a lot of character figures, and specialty pieces (gold coins for Gringott's etc).If your child loves building with Legos, and loves the Harry Potter series, this is a great purchase.
While the product was new and sealed of course the product has aged and the pieces are very fragile. Several have broken in attempting to put it together. I guess if you want to just buy lego sets and keep them as a collectors item it would be better.
Imstill building out wards and up collecting the right bits slowly, its become an emporiam .im enjoying it very much

Far more intriguing than the latest Diagon Alley release (which looks more like the theme park at Universal Studios)... visually much more in keeping with the spirit of the Harry Potter books and movies. Some interesting quirks because it was made ten years ago... outsized poles instead of the smaller, more detailed wands of current sets, and more simplistic faces on minifigs. Also. especially with Olivander's Wand Shop, not as sturdily engineered as more recent models... that is to say, it might not stand up well in rough play by younger children. The tradeoff in this case is stunning details which give a truly magical appearance. While perhaps delicate in the hands of young children, these buildings offer much more interior play space than most of the ... MoreI love it!
