LEGO 10218 Creator Pet Shop

This set, although understandably old, is a wonderful addition to any LEGO collection, and clearly exemplifies the creativity that the LEGO franchise always puts forth into each of their creations. I highly recommend this set.

I was a bit worried that it would be the knockoff lego set. It was priced about $60 cheaper than even the cheapest ebay listing. Item was correct and new in the box...

Another great Lego Modular

This Lego Creator Expert Modular set is another great addition to the series. It has many cool details and unique features. If you are an adult Lego fan like me, your city won't be complete without this set. For the price, this set is well worth it. Buy now if you can as the modular buildings don't last long and they increase rapidly in price once discontinued.

Awesome

I bought all the kits to light up my city and every single one was showing an incredible high quality standard. Starting from the box, every light was really well and accurately packed, then the materials are really top quality as well as the clearly-explained online instructions. I have to say that the final result of the lighted lego set at night is priceless. It really comes to life. Thank you for your assistance in helping me realize my project.

Beautiful

These modular look totally different when you install the lights; and all the modulars together, even better.The only "problem" is to adapt an old design with a new one using the wireless power connectors. But I figured it out and did very well. Some of these come with instructions for these connectors at the end, but you need to go back and forth with the instructions when you use the connectors. Installation was fun.

Excellent, but not perfect

The quality of the components is, as usual, absolutely stellar. The placement of the lights is also fantastic and definitely works well alongside other LMB light kits. I ran into a few small hiccups during my installation though, hopefully this helps someone:1. The convention of using bold text when mentioning installation of a new cable or light strip LMB follows in other instructions is hit or miss here. Sometimes it's in bold, others not. Make sure you read everything!2. The lamp post in front of the pet store is installed in the wrong place, it's supposed to be further to the left. Moving it over doesn't cause any cable issues, but may be confusing for first time users as more sidewalk panels need to be removed to put it in the correct spot.3. Step #20 instructs to use tape to secure the expansion board in place, not the included adhesive squares. However the squares are not used anywhere else in the kit, so I'd use them here.4. Since this kit was designed for use with a battery pack, not the currently included USB cable, trying to route the cable away to plug it in some distance from the building is impossible. Connecting it on a lower floor of the building would be preferable, but I wasn't able to find a way to make this work. Make sure you have a USB cable extender available or plan around the short cable.

Great addition to Lego City

This is a great addition to Lego City and it looks good lit up. The kit was easy to install, and it was easy to hide the wires. I didn't follow the instructions exactly, as I wanted to two pieces to be able to be independent. So I added an extra strip to the second building. It was easy with the extra pieces I have accumulated. I recommend this to anyone lighting up their city.

Great addition to a growing Lego City

This modular set is a great addition to anyone's expanding Lego City. These modulars, like the many others Lego offers, are full of wonderful little details.This kit is definitely NOT for novice/young/inexperienced builders. Its not a small/short build, so choose your recipient wisely.

Pet Shop

Lights are great. At firs look it is like something is missing in the first few steps of manual but than at the end of first part you can see additional plan using wireless connectors that are great. All in all great quality and addition to set. You can see mine modification with wireless connectors on a different places than in the manual. I have used only 2 pairs to be able to remove floors from ground floor.

Very frustrating build as several pieces were missing, larger pieces that I didnt have or couldnt substitute with other pieces from my spares pot.

Very frustrating build as several pieces were missing, larger pieces that I didnt have or couldnt substitute with other pieces from my spares pot. Several brown and blue bricks were broken, all pieces for those were found in the bags. Most annoying were that half of the clip joint that made up the Pets sign were snapped and this part of the build is held together with just friction and hope.
