Since lockdown I have been making Lego vehicles as a way of taking time out and practicing mindfulness. As life has gotten busier I have less free time, so this set was perfect. Not too big that it was a daunting project, but a nice bit of time out, where I can concentrate on something and have something to show for my efforts when am done. The end product is super stylish and looks great on the shelf.

Best finish I have ever seen in a Lego model. The curves and lines are amazing and the authentic details make it a very satisfying build. I fear it has raised my expectations for the next build/purchase to a new level. The instructions were clear, expansive and exhaustive, very easy to follow. Loved every second of it, I wish I could deconstruct it and build it again........

Bought this for my husband who loves Lego (Technic mostly) and Vespas. This was a quick and easy build for him as less complex than the Technic models but all the same he really enjoyed it. Certainly within the ability of someone under 18 (age suggested on box). I saw review comments reporting that it easily falls apart but whilst awaiting a display case that we have separately ordered, it is sat happily on a wall shelf with no hint of readiness to crumble.

My wife got me this for Christmas; we had returned from a trip to Italy in late October. I had never done any Lego stuff previously, and I am somewhat spatially challenged, so I wasn't sure I would even be able to do it. Happily, the instructions were very clear. The pieces are obviously high quality. They way they go together is quite satisfying. It took me over six hours to complete it, but I really enjoyed the process (I'm sure people who have Lego experience could probably finish it in a lot less time).The final product is beautiful, and is currently on display in my office at work. As always, amazingly packaged and such greatly detailed directions. Great quality as expected from lego. Love the details they always think up. My teen enjoyed assembling it and has it on display now. Honestly I didn’t find the price bad for the size of the kit. Some do seem overpriced but this wasn’t bad at $129.I’m d recommend it to any lego fan who likes vespas.
This was a great project right up to the point that the 'steering' mechanism unit was put in place. Then I discovered a problem: the two side pieces would not attach properly. It seemed there was a piece missing but careful examination showed everything was complete. I thought I could make it work anyway. Then came the completion of the front fender. There was a piece either missing or wrongly substituted. I tried to make a workaround but it was not satisfactory. Very disapointing. I am going to try to get the missing piece replaced but not sure how much luck I will have. ALSO, others have complained about the model being flimsy. I have to agree somewhat. I really want to give this 5 stars but unfortunately I cannot, I can only give 5 stars for the idea of a Vespa Lego Set. I had to buy it because it was the cutest thing but sadly my expectations were not made. I wish this lego set came with krazy glue so it would stay together. I completed this Vespa but with A LOT of issues. Legos are made so that they will bond together, but not with this set. As soon as I’m done with a bag and put it together the whole thing falls apart. I love it but it’s a hard no from me dog.
My brother and I offered this set to our mom (65y). She is in a Vespa Club. I don't even know if she ever got a Lego set for herself. Well, now she surely has and she was thrilled!It is never too late!She loves that it is so realistic and even if she is not used to build Lego, she had a blast doing it!If you know someone that loves Vespa, it will make this person loves Lego (even more!)
Got the idea to build my mom this 75th anniversary edition Vespa after a lifetime of hearing her talk about dreams of a moped; actually, Disney Pixar’s Luca really sealed the deal for me as I wanted to build a Vespa like Luca and Alberto, too. Very satisfying build once it is all put together, but there are a few steps in the process I found a bit frustrating when adding bricks would cause others to come apart. Mom loves it and now I can say I got/built her a rare blue (lego) Vespa.
This Vespa lego was a little challenging but worth it. I did read some other reviews about some lego pieces not lining up. This only occurred for me on one section on the first go, but after redoing one side of the Vespa, I found that all pieces lined up perfect as they just needed to be locked in a little harder when connecting. Overall it was fun and the end result looks great.
