My two year old grandson loved it and so did his four year old sister. Ideal for little fingers. The big Duplo style box it came in is a great way of keeping all the little pieces contained. I shall be able to add to it for future birthdays.

Was a gift for a 1.5 year old boy. Absolutely went down a treat. Great set with safe pieces to play with, happy parents too. Bought 2 sets building plates to go with it. Happy family all round. Good prices, prefer Duplo to Lego.

It's a classic. Great introduction to lego for little ones. They can't choke on the pieces. Easy to grab for hands. Easy to sanitize. Not fiddly. Easy to spot on floor so not so much harm to adult feet. Makes a lovely loud noise when thrown into the box, for when they are at the tidying away/throwing phase.
Decided that at 18 months my granddaughter was ready for her first set of Duplo. This is an excellent starter set with enough variety to engage a little one, various bricks a couple of people and a car. It comes in a useful storage box, great for encouraging tidying up. But oh why did I not hang on to some of the Duplo we had when her father was small!!!
I love the products. I got one for my boy, this time buy is again for friend’s children birthday. Durable, tidy because you can pack everything in the box and still have room for some additional set to add on. Plus it’s good for room decoration.
An ideal present for a small, perpetually curious, wee boy at Xmas. And no inbuilt boredom factor. In no time he'll no doubt graduate to 'proper' Lego. Meantime we get some snooze-time. We're all happy.
We believe this will be perfect for our 3 year old grandson. He will be able to stack blocks and make simple structures. We also believe that the more complicated sets will end up being built by the parent. And then what? I think Lego, in general, underestimates the complexity/age group of the sets they design and sell. So, this set will be perfect.
This box of Duplo is an excellent introduction to construction for 2 to 3 year olds. There are lots of basic pieces and several individual pieces eg a car, figures, tree, swing. Would be easy to add other Duplo sets (fire station, house, garage etc) to this introductory box. Can see this would then lead onto Lego as manual dexterity improves.
I bought this box for my granddaughter's birthday she is 3 Years old.She loves to make towers and knock them down, but with this set she looked at the booklet and made up the house and trees on her own. The box the Duplo comes in perfect for keeping all the blocks she need to make up the items on the booklet together. Can't wait for Christmas to get her another set with instructions.
