LEGO 10992 Life at The Day-Care Center - DUPLO

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] This set would be absolutely perfect for children transitioning into a daycare setting, providing opportunities through play to learn about everything that goes along with that. My son is almost 4 so really enjoyed being able to build this set with me. He may have been a little old for some of the scenarios I can see this being perfect for like learning about using a toilet at daycare, sharing, staying with someone who isn't family etc but he still enjoyed playing with the set. The one thing I think the set is missing isanother adult figure who could be a parent dropping of and picking up their child. This is another great thing about this set, it is easy to incorporate with other sets for extended play options, at one point Captain America showed up at our daycare to solve the case of the stolen bike. [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] They Lego Duplo Nursery play set was very cute. My daughter was very excited that it looked like daycare and had a scooter! When she started putting it together she needed help to manipulate some of the pieces so they clicked together properly but the instructions were fairly easy for her to follow. The thing I found frustrating was why have all the pieces in separate bags if you need to have all the bags open from the beginning. She very much enjoyed that it had two little rooms and things to set up and chang around in the rooms. I definitely will continue to buy these kinds of sets for her. It'sa perfect afternoon activityafter a big day at daycare :)

We talked about how to follow instructions and how important it is for the overall result and that was just the start. My little one was very excited and enthused to start roleplaying characters that he would imagine. He does go to daycare so it was easier for him to make up new scenarios or situations such as lunchtime, emotions and learning environments. This was a fantastic interactive game that was played with both parents and my son was able to play by himself too with his new toy friends. We have played every single day since getting it and I have no doubt there will be more to come. A great set for kids. Highly recommend it.

Mr 2 had a fantastic time exploring the different characters and areas within the set. He was particularly fond of the scooter and wheelchair which he enjoyed swapping the characters into and pushing them around. The toilet was a fun new area to explore as he is not yet toilet trained but it interested him. Washing hands in the sink after was good reinforcement for hand hygiene procedures. The yummy bananas made for a fun pretend snack time. Mr 2 isn’t proficient at building the duplo sets unassisted, however he did enjoy helping and pulling blocks apart and attempting to attach the different shapes together. Inside the box there are various packets with the Duplo blocks and also two sets of instruction booklets, which helps you build the two different building structures. The instructions are simple and instructional enough that my two year old was able to follow along with my support (e. d finding the correct block and attempting to find its correct placement). My two year old was so excited to build the buildings and loved the addition of the toilet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] This set has been absolutely marvellous. Provided hours of entertainment for my two little ones. The blocks are large and brightly coloured, very easy to grasp and assemble. The duplo figures have been designed to represent children from all walks of life and signifies inclusivity which I think is absolutely brilliant! For my 1. 5 year old, it was a great way to teach her how a daycare setting looks like and What it involves. For my 4 year old who already attends kinder, it was a fantastic way for him to demonstrate what he does on a daily basis. Overall, very impressed by the set and we are already looking to purchase more sets in the range.

Fun, and Great for Toddlers

My three year old daughter just started her first year of preschool. This playset from Lego helped her transition successfully into her new life as a student. My entire family loves the Lego brand. There is something for everyone. I trust duplo bricks to be fun, and safe, for my youngest children. This Life at the Day Care Center set is perfect for ages two and up.
