LEGO 21123 Minecraft The Iron Golem

Six year old nephew is a big fan of minecraft and of lego. This set is simple enough for him to put together on his own. Nice selection of figures, good playability. Will work well with other minecraft sets he will be getting for Christmas! We're a fan of this set, purchasing it on sale the price point per piece made the purchase a great value.

I’ve always loved Minecraft. So when I seen they had came out with Minecraft legos , I knew I’d had to get them! My boyfriend doesn’t care much about Minecraft but he does like building them with me now lol.

My son loves this set. We buy all the Lego Minecraft sets. He is eight and easily built this. It is priced very reasonably. The Minifigures that come in this set are adorable. The little piggy is my son's favorite. A perfect gift for any Minecraft fan! Highly recommend.

I couldnt find the exact Lego set i bought my son for his birthday. I got him the skull arena. Once he got it put together it was pretty neat. He lost some of the tiny weapons but its hard not too for most kids. It was a little pricey but the instructions were surprisingly easy for him to understand and help him get everything built properly.

Minecraft and Lego. What else do you need!!! It's the perfect combination. Lego is for everyone. All ages, any gender any interest.

My step son who is 8 loves legos and plays minecraft with Dad all the time. Having minecraft legos is the epitome of building and imagination and my ss is obsessed! We have bought multiple of the minecraft sets and they are always a hit for birthdays and Christmas! I wish legos weren't so pricey but we rarely lose pieces and the joy they bring is priceless

Fun, interactive set - great for younger kids, too

Great set - it is interactive (the Golem is hidden under one of the base plates and can be raised in one move by pulling down on one section), it can be put together in several different configurations, and it includes a lot of figures to play with as well as blocks to "mine" (plus a pickaxe). My 4.5 yr old grandson usually only assembles the figures in a regular (non-Junior) Lego set and I have to put the rest together for him, but this set's instructions have quite a few smaller "sections" to build separately and then attach to the main section - so he was able to do most of those himself and very pleased about it. I highly recommend this set even if the child is not 8+ years old.

Go Go Golem!

This set was a very great set!! it was my third lego minecraft set and thought it was going to be really cool because i did not have any of the minifigures in the set. the iron golem is my favorite because of the new head mold (witch also came out in the village and the melon farm) and the alex minifigure.Pros:Great figuresGood Golem FunctionGreat playsetCons:Not really any!Anyways, this is a great set for starter LEGO minecraft fans!

Great for Minecraft Fans, but ONLY Minecraft Fans

This set is great, but it's really only a good buy for fans of minecraft. For someone who doesn't like minecraft, there are a lot of things in this set that they will not be able to use, and there are better options.Pros: This set comes with lots of good minecraft related parts. For any minecraft fan, this set would be fantastic, and I would recommend it! Here are the various minecraft components you get:-A crafting table-A furnace-A torch-A diamond pickax-An iron ore block-A pumpkin-A flowerAnd of course, you get a Zombie, a pig, Alex, and an Iron Golem. It also has many standard stone blocks and dirt blocks. For someone who's into minecraft, specifically lego minecraft, this is a great way to grow your collection. It also has many standard stone blocks and dirt blocks. For someone who's into minecraft, specifically lego minecraft, this is a great way to grow your collection. The only thing in this set that you would not need two of is Alex. You could even purchase multiple of these if you're looking to stock up on pigs, zombies, or iron golems. The set is also very playable. There is a cool feature where you can build an iron golem out of blocks and a pumpkin, and then flip a switch to make a real iron golem pop out of the ground. While it may be a little hard to put together, the end result is undeniably cool.Cons: The main problem with this set is that it's not a good buy for non-minecraft fans. There are lots of parts with minecraft related prints that wouldn't be useful to standard builders. And the minifigures have obvious minecraft prints on them, so the only part of the minifigures you can use for anything else is the legs. This set is probably a waste of money if you're buying it for someone who's not into the game. While many LEGO sets are good for almost anyone, this one is targeted towards a specific demographic. It doesn't make the set bad, but you have to know who to buy it for.In short, make sure the person you're buying this for is a minecraft fan. If they're not, I recommend getting a 20 dollar City or Creator set, they will probably enjoy it much more. However, if they ARE a minecraft fan, they're sure to love this set.
