LEGO 21167 - Minecraft The Trading Post

So this one was easier than the last and I found it relaxing to put together. Like I've said in other posts my sons 5 and doesn't have the attention span to follow the directions so I always put them together. I was excites with how many figures this one can with. It's pretty decent size set and he loves it. So hours of silence for me. 😁😁

10 year old loved

My ten year old was very happy to receive. She really thought the llamas were cute. It shipped quickly and arrived in the same fashion. The box was well protected in shipping. I couldn’t find this set anywhere else so I am so happy I was able to purchase from Walmart!

Fun to play with!!

My kids like building this set. I like that it keeps them occupied. Since it doesn't take long to build, sometimes my kids break it apart and build it up again. They think it's fun to have "Steve" and "Skeleton'' fight each other. Their favorite part is having " Steve" trade with the wandering trader. They like making up different stories with the characters. Overall, this is a great set.

Hours of fun

LEGO Minecraft , The Trading Post is an absolutely fabulous product. It was easy to assemble. My kids are obsessed with anything minecraft and had hours of fun . Lego is a very high quality and it lasts a lifetime. The pieces are sturdy and not breakable, a definite plus I love the characters, like Skelton is pretty cool, and Steve and wandering trader. I love that you can make 2 Lamar.. It has 201 pieces took an hour with the help of my son . Definitely very fun and we played out different scenarios.

It was a hit!

This was a gift for my great nephew. My niece told me that her son, who is five, was really into Legos. I looked online and noticed a lot of Minecraft Legos. I asked her if her son enjoyed playing Minecraft. She told me that he just started showing an interest in it. When he opened the gift he asked in wonder how I knew about Minecraft. lol

Lots of fun to build!

I have 2 boys ages 6 and 10 and they have built The Trading Post; this set is for age 8 and it age appropriate. My 10 year old was the leader and my younger son was able to assist. This set was similar to other lego sets just a different theme. My boys love Minecraft and Legos so this was a good mix of 2 things they really like. The Trading Post set is visually similar to the Minecraft video game. This set is approximately 200 pieces and includes the 2 stalls, 2 llamas and 1 figure. The TNT block is interactive; it will pop out when you press the lever. As a parent I am happy that they enjoy building various Lego sets; it encourages hand eye coordination and it takes time away from video games and electronics. As an adult who does not play minecraft much anymore I'm not big on spending large amounts on minecraft. I appreciate having these small sets available to get the recognizable figures and animals at a reasonable cost. Llamas? Well I must really. If they were stuck in a hundred dollar set then I'd have to pass, but for 16-20 bucks then yes.Dear Lego, I'm okay with you debuting new figures or animals in large sets, just please make them available eventually in smaller sets as well. Would love a witch, more types of villagers, Husk, etc. Same goes for other long term themes as well.

My son loves it!

My 9 year old son is obsessed with Minecraft and loves Legos so he was absolutely ecstatic about receiving this! He couldn't wait to put it together, it took him about 3 hours or so to build the whole thing, he did say it was a little hard to build but he was able to do it all himself. It comes with 2 people, a skeleton type of guy, 2 llamas and a little tnt plus the actual trading post. After he got it built he spent an hour or 2 playing with it and has played with it everyday since. I would definitely recommend this for any Minecraft fans!

So fun

This is a great set for a experienced builder! My son was able to follow directions and build it just as it said in the book, the pictures were easy to follow for my younger son to assist his brother. We built this as a family it did not really take too long. We had so much fun. Each piece fits perfectly together we had absolutely no problems. I like this set it resembles whats in minecraft, its relatable and its fun. My son changes things up the opportunity in what you can create truly is endless. Now that my youngest is moving into Legos, we have taught him how to read the directions and follow each step and he did such a great job with this. We love Legos In our house!!!

Wondering Trader: versatile and pulls double duty

We have a decent collection of lego Minecraft sets. When this set came out it was on our yes list! If your child is into either Minecraft or Minecraft Dungeons this set can be used in pretend play for both or either. Use the main figure as either a Wondering Trader with his trusty Llamas in Minecraft or as one of the Traders found in Camp from Minecraft Dungeons. The Trading post build and add on terrain is ok. It is nothing super special, nothing terrible either. We like the table flip feature in the post trading booth. We wish they would have found something other than the trusty tnt as the choice of add on action feature. Whether he paired the main trader figure with the Redstone Monstrosity set for a trader at camp to upgrade his gear, or used him as a wondering trader that spawned in at our chicken farm, this Trader figure is a much welcomed addition! The trader adds tons of pretend play value with great options as a friendly vendor. This set is a welcome sight from all the mobs. They do include a skeleton on the set. We just put him with the other mobs we have to keep our trading post peaceful. The Steve included is a basic bare bones Steve. If you don’t have a Steve yet this is a good way to get him but odds are you already have 5 or more of him if you’re into lego Minecraft and his accessory in this set is nothing special. I view this as a must have set for any Minecraft lego lover. It’s kind of like having the equivalent of a lego police officer to go with a city set so you cant put your bad lego pieces in jail; Just like the police officer, everyone needs a vendor to buy new gear and stuff from in the Minecraft Lego universe. It’s just a basic part of the real video games, and kids love to pretend shop. So this makes the wondering villager a critical part of any kid’s pretend play if you’re going to play Minecraft Legos. Easy build for kids, short build, lots of hours of pretend play fun! Love that it goes beautifully with any other Minecraft Lego set that exists. As a stand alone set if this is your first Minecraft Lego set ever it’s functional, but definitely more fun if you have a second terrain that your lego Steve or Alex is coming from to go shopping. Great gift for any boy, girl, or adult who plays Minecraft or Minecraft Dungeons.
