We own ALL of the Lego games and my 6-year old loves this one the best! We replaced a few figs so all the spots are filled and we have so much fun playing over and over :) best game! Better than Ludo even. ;)

Easy to build, he built it 99% by himself in a couple of hours. I helped with the legs of the game boards. And we have played and played and played. He has also built several new people and things from other bricks he had. It is a game he can continue to take apart and rebuild and add new characters to guess. Awesome!

We own ALL of the Lego games and my 6-year old loves this one the best! We replaced a few figs so all the spots are filled and we have so much fun playing over and over :) best game! Better than Ludo even. ;)
Easy to build, he built it 99% by himself in a couple of hours. I helped with the legs of the game boards. And we have played and played and played. He has also built several new people and things from other bricks he had. It is a game he can continue to take apart and rebuild and add new characters to guess. Awesome!

Some great things about this game are you can switch up the accessories and/or make your own new characters/objects. These changes can make the game more interesting in addition to making it either easier or more difficult to play.Now my game has the options of a bunch of accessories that I already had two each of, and a couple new characters I created - a pirate chicken and a one-eyed monster.
My son received this from his grandparents for Christmas and it was a rousing success. He loves board games and is just getting into Lego's- this was a great combination. As others have stated, the game is too easy when the objects are in the game, so we have decided to just supplement other mini-figures into the game to make it more interesting. We have found that getting duplicate mini-figures for the game are great gifts and you can customize it with favorite Lego figures and characters. Highly recommend.
Totally worth it. Set has over 500 pieces including 16 minifigures: two each of eight different minifigs. Half are "men" and half are "women." Set is great for the "What am I?" game and it provides a store of useful pieces like four 16 x 16 plates, 48 1x1 clips, 24 studs-not-on-top pieces (element 6070698), and more. My only caveat is that the build is quite repetitive to create the game boards, but I found this a positive as my children could more quickly build and then play the game. Most pieces are red, blue, white, or gray. Again, I like this monochrome palette because we can use the pieces in our own builds that need lots of the same kinds of elements. The game boards are surprisingly versatile -- my children have used them as game boards, as minifigure ... MoreTotally worth it. QUITE GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.I HAD TO REBUILD IT BECAUSE I PUT THE WHITE PIECES IN THE WRONG PLACE.NICE VARIETY OF PIECESPUTTING THE MINI-FIGURES INTO THE SET DROVE ME NUTS BECAUSE I HAD TROUBLE SEATING THE FIGURES.There is much admirable about the set but putting the figures in and keeping them there was a bit of a challenge. Lovely mini-figures.We will likely dismantle the game and use the pieces in building something else
Because the game has 7 minifigs but 5 objects, my sons quickly realized their first question should be: Is it a minifigure? They also realized they would be at a disadvantage to pick an object as there are fewer. They also fight over whether their pick has red (slim lip line) or black (eyes on a minifig), so we had to add rules: no asking whether it is a minifig and they must specify what part has a certain color (eg. does it have yellow hands?). With these alterations, the game is much more enjoyable.
This as a game was not why I bought it. It might have a fun value if you have some youngsters . But for anyone of age it has limited play value. It has minfigures and LOTS of plates. 536 pieces. Mostly plates. Built the birds and the mini trains for my Xmas scene. Everything else went into "scrap" pile for other building.
So I bought this mainly for the pieces and all the figures, but that said we did assemble everything and to my surprise we (two adults) played the game several times one evening. We implemented a few rules to make it a bit more challenging because you quickly learn choosing an object instead of a mini-figure can be a serious disadvantage if someone asks: is it a mini-figure? [For Lego's feedback, the objects (esp. the penguin) are fun, but this would be a lot better with all mini-figures.] In any event, we couldn't ask a question that had already been asked and tried to find some less obvious questions to make it more challenging (i.e. does your character/object prefer the cold?) We've discussed pulling the objects and replacing with different mini-figures that have ...
