The Kabuki twins are the best minifigures of the set, appearing in The batman TV series and seen nowhere else, they help TLBM's modus operandi of obscure Rogues to shine through. My only dislike is the long stickers used, but as printed parts are more expensive, I can hardly argue; we don't want the price to increase even more than £50.

Every year Lego makes a new Batmobile set I can't turn down. They all look really good and minifigures are always a good factor. This set is a nice Batmobile but a very new and odd look. But still good. My favorite part of this set is the Wheel/legs function. the wheels can elevate and twist themselves in whatever direction you choose. Which allows so many play functions. I like that you get classic Batman and Robin which cannot have without in this set but, the villains in this set are not very good we've seen the man-bat before and you get two of the exact same minifigure: the Kabuki twins. A little more variety would be nice. If you care about the car more than the minifigures I would greatly suggest you get this set. If the minifigures fit your interest. To be honest when this first came out i was way more interested in the jokers lowrider, but after actually building this set i have to say i enjoy it alot avtually. Its a very solid and sturdy build. Nothing feels flimsy or fragile but the one flaw i didnt like is the connecting of the wings to the turbines they move around too much and just being held on by the peg makes it not really go with the rest of the build. Alot of technics aspects in this set as well. The box does this set no justice! U have to build to fully appreciate and it looks sweet even without the stickers! Minifigures are nothing new except the robin minifig is cool. Overall very happy with this set.

Crazy idea for a batmobile. I agree that this is a fun build. Brings back my memories from the 90's where we just make our own superhero characters (I am batman of course) out old legos using markers and I was trying very hard to copy the batmobile. I can't wait to get my hands on from tim burton's 1989 batman this coming February. Good thing lego is creating a more realistic version and hopefully they will recreate a much better "batpod" as i still don't want to detach the parts my tumbler lol.

This was a set I kinda ignored until I saw it for sale at Toys r us. Then I looked into it, and figuring it may not be on sale again, I bought it. The worst minifigure here is the Manbat, since he’s the same version from a couple years back. There is space for Batman and Robin inside, even though it gets pretty cramped in there. The inside is easily accessible, with a simple feature to get the roof off. There is lots of detail, even without putting the stickers on, making it a great display piece. It’s also great for play, with little things that can be articulated, and it’s very stable. The best part about the Batmoblie is definitely the movement in the wheels. It can go in all different directions and poses with this feature.Though, amidst the great things in the Batmobile, there are two flaws in it. The first is that the inside isn’t 100% closed up, as there are two small “gaps” near the base of the vehicle that leave the inside open to the outside. Secondly, there aren’t many things that shoot on the vehicle. There are only two stud shooters on the whole vehicle, which isn’t much.Overall, the Batmobile is a well made build. This set has a few downs here and there, but the biggest problem here is the price. This set is $75, which is way too much for a set that has less than 600 pieces. This set should be $60, or $65 at most. This is a great set for many reasons, so the price should be reasonable so more kids and collectors can get it.Though, this is a must buy if you see it on sale.

Great build and design. Innovative issue of suspension and tire articulation. Lots of play options. My only two quibbles are the cockpit and pop-off hatch. The seats are a little tight to get both figs in and stable easily. Needs a different placement for the pegs to secure characters.I wish the hatch would pop off with more force and distance, plus take the windshield with it. For now, the hatch kind of just pops off and tumbles down the side, then you have to pull the windshield off AND then you can remove the figures. Far from the end of the world, but just removes a little of the feeling for dramatic action that could have been. Maybe a second turn mechanism that makes the windshield or even the figs pop out would be awesome.Overall it's really great! Good ... MoreGreat build and design. Had been waiting a while to get my hands on this set, and my girlfriend knew and got it for me for Christmas.Should have bought it much sooner, its such a lovely model. The build was fun, it looks absolutely great, accurate to the film and some great play functions for children. Only slight negative would be the wheels as due to the movement and pose-ability of them means the don't quite track as perfectly as other wheel models but I'm really nit picking now as this mode is amazing. The price feels like a steal tbh, get great minifigs, great looks being much smoother looking like Joker low rider than some sets and lovely features.10/10 set, and get it because IT'S BATMAN!

New and improved Batmobile

this set was a very awesome and unique set i loved the mini figures that came (except everyone's least favorite man-bat) but the set itself was challenging it had a lot of technique features and is definitely made for more older lego builders, besides that, the play features to the set were fun and the stud shooters were hidden so the set would look a lot better when displayed. the cockpit to the vehicle was a awesome two seater that held batman and robin pretty tight. the stickers a kind of a pain but still make the set awesome. the set also has a transforming ability to which the modes are race car, monster truck, and parallel parking mode. well that about wraps up my review, final rating: 10/10 and as always have a great week to whoever is reading this :)

So Classy!
18 February 2017

My mother bought me this set today to use a $10 off coupon at Target. This is one of the best LEGO DC sets I've ever received! It was a challenging set to build, but yet it was a lot of fun. I got to see many new pieces ,with many new techniques. It's really cool to see the roof *POP!* off when the back engine is turned. I like how the color-scheme is red and black, just like the 1966 Batmobile. It's so classy! But seriously, the most awesome feature is the wheels' flexibility. I would totally recommend this awesome LEGO set to a friend! It is the best LEGO Batmobile ever produced! (Review by cheesy. 2/17/2017)

The Speedwagon
10 December 2017

This is my review on the Batmobile. I’ll break it down into sections by pros and cons:The car: the Batmobile was a very detailed and challenging build. The cockpit is my favorite part of the whole set. Very detailed and I love the stickers on the cheese slope pieces. One thing I don’t like is that when you pull the minifigure out of the seat, occasionally the jumper plates will come up with the figure. But that’s a minor problem. The stickers are fine, but if you want to leave the ones off the windscreen, that’s fine. But you have to put the “speedwagon” sticker on there! Another complaint is the wing pieces on the engines can tilt down in play, then you have to adjust them. The play feature for the roof is fine, but I wish that they had just abandoned the whole ... MoreThis is my review on the Batmobile. Another complaint is the wing pieces on the engines can tilt down in play, then you have to adjust them. The play feature for the roof is fine, but I wish that they had just abandoned the whole mechanism and used the area under the lever as a storage area. You still can use it as storage, but there’s not much room. The movable wheels are great. Need I say more?Minifigures: this set has 5 figures-Batman, Robin, Manbat, and The Kabuki Twins. Batman is same old, same old. I wish he had a smiling face instead of a serious face. Robin is great, very whimsical. Love the goggles/glasses. His cape has a metallic shine to it that is very nice. Manbat is probably the worst minifig here. It’s pretty much the same as his older variant. The Kabuki Twins are fine. A bit boring, but, you know, they’re cool.Accessories: The best accessory in this set is the Bat Merch gun. Exclusive printing on the cylinder and the 1x1 circle tile. I wish Manbat had a jewel or diamond piece so Batman could chase him after a heist. Well, that’s that! Thanks for reading my review and have a good week.
