LEGO - 75256 Star Wars Kylo Ren's Shuttle

I prevaricated a long time before getting this one because, like all current Star Wars Lego, it is expensive. In the end I got it from ebay (without minifigures) for less than half the original price.This set builds up into a structurally solid, swoosh-able and accurate piece of kit.The designer has used unconventional and imaginative build techniques and these have been split down into instruction steps which are admirably clear for a set with so many black pieces. As others have said, aligning technic pegs and axles is quite challenging in some of the build steps - look at step 56 or step 180/238 - but absolutely necessary to get the wingfold working solidly.Surface decoration is a real gem, including imaginative use of ice skates and front fenders.A slightly flatter wing angle when unfolded would have been great, but really not possible in Lego without compromising the stability of the opened wings or the appearance of the wing roots,So, this is a clever build, a great model and, If you want the minifigures, value for money.

This set was so fun to build! We built this over a few nights. With 1005 pieces it was a great way to spend time with the family! All the pieces were included, none missing or damaged. This set is pretty big when complete. It is about 16 inches tall and about 20 inches wide!! However you are able to fold the wings up by turning the engine knobs , therefor making it easy to store in a shelf - if you can stop playing with it long enough! We love that it has space in the cockpit for three minutes figures! That is a big plus at playtime when you defending the galaxy! There are six mini figures and I have to admit the red Sith Trooper is our favorite. The all black color of the shuttle makes this ship look even more menacing. Some of the steps were a bit complicated for our child to do in his own but with a little help and guidance from an adult we got it completed.Overall this is a great set. Be ready to spend a few hours building but it is totally worth it when it is complete. You will have many hours playing with this shuttle!

This Kylo Ren's shuttle was an absolute blast for my 10 year old son and I to put together. Legos are a huge part of my sons toy collection, and this one is the biggest we have had, while it was challenging it was so much fun to assemble! It took us about 4 hours to assemble, we did take a break to have a snack in the middle of it. This Lego set is definitely big and requires a good amount of time to put together. The instructions were very clear to follow with pictures that showed step by step instructions. We absolutely loved that this shuttle includes 6 mini-figs and can fit 3 mini-figs inside the cockpit all while being able to still close without effort.
