LEGO 75377 - Star Wars Invisible Hand

The lego star wars invisble hand was so much fun to build! The package is adult looking and atractive. At first a was not really a fan of star wars but after this build i want them all! The guide is easy to read. Every picture in this guide is very detailed. The bricks are sepperated in a few bags with numbers on it so you can build it piece by piece without a lot off effort to find the pieces. The box, guide and build feels really for adults only, the book itself has a nice intro with a short story about the star wars 25th anniversary and how this build came to Lego. It is a Big spaceship never would have thought it was this Big. It also feels very durable and stabil after all the pieces come together. Excellent Midi-Scale Star Wars Ship

The Invisible Hand is a Star Wars ship I've been looking forward to seeing in Lego, even better considering its in Midi-Scale. It finds the right balance between the expensive but immensely detailed and large UCS sets and the cheaper but less detailed smaller sets having plenty of detail without breaking the bank or taking up a small room to store it. Instructions were easy to understand and assemble and the display stand is a perfect addition for displaying on shelves. Features nice Revenge of the Sith Easter eggs scaled to match the ship sizeAs for any negatives it does contain stickers for the CIS symbols and bulkheads, four in total which could've been printed on to the blocks. Fine addition for the small scale SW collector

I never started collecting the larger Star Wars Lego models because of the sheer space it would require to store/display them. I think Lego found a niche within a niche here and I'm very happy that they did.I already have the Super Star Destroyer small scale model and was hoping for more. The Invisible Hand is an awesome build for its size and comes with some nice little details from Revenge of the Sith (which I won't spoil here). It's amazing how much detail they can fit into these models.So yeah, you got me (again) Lego. Looking forward to more of these models! Already saving for the Tantive IV and the Millenium Falcon.

Great addition to Star Wars sets

The 25th Anniversary Star Wars designs are great and I think this is the hidden gem of the set. The cost is great for the level of detail that goes into the set and it the build is very well designed too, with detachable parts to represent Episode III and other characters. Having also purchased the new similar scale Millennium Falcon I actually enjoyed this build more with the unique shaping and subtle parts of the structure that go into it and when mounted on the stand it is particularly intriguing. The instructions are also rather reasonable - 7 year old son was able to help out with parts of the ship (packet 1) and the entire stand by himself (last packet), and also some details within the instructions that made it enjoyable for kids to look at. A great addition and excellent sizing to be able to have detail in a model but not have to worry about storage with a more appropriate size. Cost and build experience make it well worth it, and display capabilities are great - would recommend to any Star Wars fan or those with children looking to help build fine motor skills on the smaller scale work.

Incredibly Grand

I left a review for the Millenium Falcon saying that it was the first of a potential three. A few weeks later, after getting the Tantive IV for my birthday, the three are mine! Mwahahahaha!This one, The Invisible Hand, was the hardest to source. I could only get it from this site or from Disney.com. Strange, I thought!I built this one in no time at all, love that it's a prequel starship and loved the Easter Eggs featured in the set too.I hope Lego continue to release sets for the Starship Collection, the best thing from Lego Star Wars in years!

Now waiting for the UCS version

Finally a CIS big ship. And its THE CIS ship. It looks great, great build and it splits just like in the movie. And there are other references to the movie. But to be honest. A big ship needs to be big. So please Lego. Make a UCS version of it. Would be nice next year when celebrating 20 years of Revenge of the sith. And would pair nice with the UCS Venator.

Practically Perfect - Great Value

I bought this set during the May the 4th promo period and aside from having loads of fun in the Leicester Square store, I couldn't be happier with this build. Out of all of the midi-scale / starship series sets, I think this one has to be the best considering both how it looks and the value for money.I've got this sitting on my desk and my eyes are always drawn to it. Lego absolutely nailed the design, look and proportions of this ship. I really like the different shades of grey, blue and splashes of yellow, so that it's not just a boring grey starship. Plus the fact that, unlike the other series sets, you can see into the hangar bay and spot some of the easter eggs, makes for more of a treat. That, along with the play function where you can break the ship in half, similar to the movie, which is an added bonus.If I was really nit-picking, the bridge section on top sits at a very slight angle. I don't notice it most of the time but it would have been ideal for it to be straight. Not enough for me to reduce this from the 5-star rating. I also wish it came with a General Grievous figure. It's hard to get that figure and the display stand even has the studs for a figure, so it would have been great to have that option of putting the figure on the stand. I would have happy paid another £3-£5 for that.I find that most of this series of ships are overpriced (especially the Tantive IV, which I've bought from another site on discount). But at £47 GBP the Invisible Hand is a very fair value for an absolutely gorgeous build.Lego, if you're listening, please, please redo the Nebulon-B Frigate midi-scale. It was a crime to make that a SDCC exclusive and it makes me weep that you'll probably never do it in a way that makes it attainable to the masses.

Small, but there's a lot there!

It's a small set, but filled with little details! The thing that I like most is that it is almost purely brick-built: very little technic is involved, making for a very enjoyable "classic" building experience that's so satisfying when it comes together. It is a small model, but very "dense" in its construction, leading it to be incredibly strong, even at its intended separation point. It is also easily able to fit on any desk or shelf, and even just feels good to hold and swoosh around: would make an excellent background piece in a diorama too.Separatist star wars ships are my favorite faction ships from the star wars universe, and I truly hope Lego makes more separatist starships in the future. Would love to see this ship and others in playscale!

Very intriguing build and nice ship!

The Invisible Hand has a great build—very creative use of studs not on top (SNOT) techniques. I’m particularly impressed by way the pieces come together for the hanger “force fields.” The Wizard’s Tower (i.e. the conning tower) at the apex of the set is simple yet highly effective. I’ll need to study this set a bit and see if I can adapt any of the techniques for my own designs. I would have loved if this came with a General Grievous or Count Dooku for display, but such is life.
