LEGO 75945 Expecto Patronum - Harry Potter

I love that this set includes a mini fig of Sirius, as he is not typically seen in the Harry Potter sets. The Dementors stand on their own which is nice. I absolutely LOVE the stag patronus, it is so pretty and glittery. Other than those things, the trees are pretty ordinary. I put this set together quickly but I'm still glad I bought it.

This set is amazing! It comes with four minifigures and an awesome looking stag! The build is awesome and detailed, and it was a very enjoyable time building this. The stag looks gorgeous with its sparkly-blue colour. It captures the look of the Patronus in the movie so well! But, I don’t like the one by two brick plopped ontop of the stag. It looks awkward. Getting two dementors in one set is great, since the figure is very detailed and creepy. The Harry figure is nice, and the Sirius Black is as well, with some leg printing! But, there is a printing error on the figure because the skin printed on his torso looks pale, which it shouldn’t be. This is probably due to printing a light color on a dark grey torso will not come out too well. The set captures one of my ... MoreThis set is amazing! The set captures one of my favorite scenes in movie history very well, with two detailed trees and a little section for Sirius to lay down on. The trees, while really detailed, doesn’t look very nice when you face the back of it.If I were to give this set a rating out of ten, I’d give it an 8/10. A great set, but there are some flaws.

I love this set and it is a great addition to my Harry Potter Lego collection. I was most excited about the stag patronus piece and was Little disappointed that the the antlers are a matte translucent rubber and not clear and sparkly like the rest of the stag. I understand that this was done with safety in mind but the rubber doesn't really match the clear sparkly Lego stag. Other than that and the flat backed trees Lego did a great job on this set including having four minifigs.
