I will be honest I think I love LEGO more than my boys and this is the first time I have ever had to write a bad review. This set did not meet LEGO standards by far, the pieces seemed to not fit together very well, I eventually had to help my 9 year old with the wing parts because the pieces kept popping undone. I had to really press hard for the pieces to finally stay together. I actually wanted to take it back to the store but they of course will not take back opened sets. Still a big fan of LEGO just super disappointed with this set.

After collecting the Lego Star Wars sets for a while, I thought I would mix it up a bit and bought this set and the new helicarrier. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the jet and couldn’t help but think it was a lot bigger and better value than a Lego Star Wars set of similar price. The build was simple enough, and wasn’t too repetitive. The only issue I had was that there were a lot of stickers in my opinion- which if applied incorrectly could have ruined the set, although this may just be the way Lego marvel works. Overall it was a excellent value for money- would recommend

My son can build very complicated sets so for him this was a easy one to build and did take less than a hour. It actually better than I expected, it is a good size and my son has seen the film and loved the fact it had all the main chracters (especially the cat). He plays with it and loves it. I did think he would get a bit bored with it as its not his fav Marvel Character (Starlord is) but he loves the set and can't ask anymore from the enjoyment he is getting out of it. I bought it for him so he can play with it not as a collector of Lego, my son has ADHD, Epilespsy and Dyslexia and Lego ... MoreI bought this set last week for my 8yrs old son who is Marvel/Lego Mad. I'm a collector of Marvel sets and the ones that come directly for the movies are ALWAYS the best. They are normally hard to find once the movie comes out, so I suggest to any collector to pick up "Captain Marvel and the Skrull Attack". It appears this might be the only Lego set for the upcoming Captain Marvel movie.Breakdown1. Mini-figures -- Grade B+Captain Marvel is great with her blue outfit. Would have been OK with her green Kree outfit too. The one disappointment was no mohawk headgear. That would have pushed the grade up to an A+. Maybe in a future set for Avengers - Endgame. The young Nick Fury is cool. Talos is good with his phaser. Great to top off the figures with Goose.2. I wish it was a little bigger to fit two figures in the cockpit. But overall a great build with history.OVERALL -- Grade A-You can't beat the price of this set that I believe will be a hot one with the upcoming Captain Marvel movie. Lego seems to just do one set for the solo Marvel movies and then multiple sets for the Avenger movies. I think that is why this set will be very valuable and desired by collectors.

Long awaited captain marvel set, doesn’t disappoint for the money!Although the ships build is somewhat mundane and parts reminiscent of the Milano and benetar (guardians ships) builds, this ship does pick up quite solidly once built! Also included are remodelled Carol Danvers/captain marvel figure,She’s got slightly different outfit and hair to the older version plus sadly doesn’t come with the headgear/Mohawk piece she’s also known for. I’m hoping further sets if they happen might incorporate that and include her green costume! (Plus more named characters especially a new Ronan, pleeeeaaase!)We also get young nick fury figure complete with hair, somewhat reminds me of Jackson’s pulp fiction role! I mainly bought this set for the young nick fury minifigure. The overall build of the jet is good but could use some adjustments. First of all, the fact that it has flick fire missiles is just weird considering that lego had upgraded to the new spring loaded ones years ago. It was cool to have 8 misses but they rest on the sides making it look so much more bulky. There were no missiles on the sides in the actual movie. The engines look cool but they are very unstable. They fall of constantly for me. I liked how much storage there was in the middle of the plane but I was hoping for a bigger cockpit. The Talos minifigure has a more light green color than in the movie. I loved the goose figure. Very nice little set, with a model that looks good on display alongside other sets. The figures are a bit underwhelming, and I'm disappointed Captain Marvel herself didn't get a better figure. She should have gotten at least leg printing and maybe arm printing. I'm hopeful they improve her in the future.Nick Fury is fine, and looks pretty much perfect from what we've seen.Talos is very odd. I feel like he's missing leg printing, printing on his head, and also a cloth cloak piece. He looks very little like his onscreen counterpart. However, this is a very fun set and was an enjoyable build.I am disappointed with how poorly packaged the set was, with the sticker sheet arriving all crinkled up and very poorly protected. Not bad

I'm a big fan of Marvel comics and movies, so purchasing this set was a given. I was fairly pleased with it; my main complaint is that a piece was actually missing once I opened the set. And since it was a somewhat specialized piece, I'm nearly positive I don't have another one kicking around that I could use instead.I thought the Captain Marvel minifig might have been more appealing if she had hair like the one from the second Lego Marvel video game, or possibly the "helmet" seen in the movie trailers, but I understand that the goal was probably to more closely resemble the actress.Overall, a fun set to build, and a good addition to my Marvel collection.

The minifigure looks pretty good, using Black Widow hair in medium nougat and reusing Qira's head from Solo: a Star Wars Story which works okay, but I wish she had a binary/powered-up face. The torso is easily the best part because it is a specialized new print for Capt. Marvel and looks great! She has plain blue legs which is sad because her red boots are such a prominent feature of the character in the trailer and they could have just reused Spider-Man's (2016) dual molded legs:(!! Carol is equipped with 2 blue power blasts which are cool, but they should be yellow or orange.Nick Fury looks much younger than previous versions of the super-spy and this is from before he loses his eye. He looks perfect, but he also has a much simpler costume than Capt. Marvel in the movie. His hair is standard Finn hair from Star Wars, and his head is from Cyborg in DC Comics, but both of these pieces work fine I think. He has a nice new shirt with tie print on the torso, featuring a holster. Nick has plain black legs and is equipped with a gray gun.Talos is the leader of the shape-shifting Skrull invaders. He gets a weird new light green ear and top of head piece that looks respectable but unfortunately lacks printing. His head is a good print with a wrinkly Skrull-style scowl. The torso looks good but not quite perfect when compared to the movie. I know how long it takes to produce a set so this is excusable. Talos has plain black legs and is equipped with a black stud shooter.Goose the Cat is the same cat design as The LEGO Movie version but I think that it still looks great! Not much to say about this but I do want to theorize that Goose has a larger part in the plot than expected......Well these minifigures are pretty respectable but it seems like LEGO's trend of making super awesome and amazing figures for Star Wars but not for Super Heroes is continuing as none of them have leg printing when Capt. Marvel and Talos would definitely benefit from them. I feel Carol also should have a new print for her head with a powered-up face. I can't complain too much though, because LEGO didn't have to make these figures and I'm am sure glad that they did and while I may not like some of the decisions, I have to respect them because TLG has been doing this for a long time and they have a budget.S.H.I.E.L.D. Quinjet (1995 style)While they figures weren't perfect, this jet is pretty perfect for $30 dollars. It is surprisingly large and well detailed. The cockpit is big enough for one figure and has a control panel. The wings are simple but effective with their folding winglets. The engine units are well detailed and feature folding fins and trans-blue exhaust ports. Under the wings there is a remote flick-fire missile shooter. This is sooooooo much better than normal though because it shoots 4 missiles instead of one. This is on both sides of the Quinjet. The back is plain but features the traditional Quinjet ramp, but cat-sized this time and (obviously) fits Goose inside.Final OpinionI really like the Quinjet for a $30 set and Nick Fury and Goose look great as well. Captain Marvel and Talos look good enough to tell which character they represent, but they are not perfect. I recommend this set for Marvel fans because its a great way to get Carol and Nick in a cheap MCU set plus the rest of the set is good as well.I hope this was helpful!!!!!

to begin, the jet is a pretty good one for a kid. my 7 year old enjoys it as he does all things that fly. the cargo area is a bit tight, so a few modifications were needed to more smoothly shove several minifigures inside.the minifigure selection is basic: capt marvel looks ok, young fury looks good, and the skrull Talos looks decent enough, though a bit too bright skinned in my opinion.this being the only set from the movie i believe it could've/should've been more. one jet, three figures and a cat? just from the previews alone there's so much more than that to this movie. there's space battles, Ronan the Accuser, Korath the Pursuer. much more could've been added to this set, or a second set, to help it shine a lot more.
