I checked both Walmart and Target. Target didn't have it also it was more expensive as well! Every other question you asked was 5☆'s. The last question I don't know for sure since it's for my Son for Christmas but since everything else was a 5☆ experience I believe the quality will be too. Also, I've bought other items from the website

Enjoyed this one. I think the head builds are getting a little easier, their fewer bags as before where it was five to six and fewer pieces to organize before building the section.I enjoyed seeing how the teeth were coming together on the mouth. I got snagged towards the end when I was putting the bottom jaw on. The two side jaws were fine and the middle was easy but when it came time to attach it to the side of the head it was very fragile, little play to adjust and disconnected. I would of built the bottom jaw as one piece (built the same way in sections) then attach it to the sides instead one side at a time.I still couldn’t figure out the green clear antenna is for on the front by the name plaque or what the clear green rods on the red piece were for. So, I knew a Carnage bust was coming, but I was surprised when I saw Venom on the shelf at the Lego store. It was the last one on the shelf, too, so I grabbed it up immediately. I also picked up Carnage.Venom was the first one I built. I'm not going to do a review for Carnage. Mostly because the two builds are like, 98.5% the same. When I finished Venom, I built the majority of Carnage from memory. The build is fun. I love the way the teeth and the jaw come together. This set is vastly superior to the Iron Man helmet. And of the two, I like the Venom set better than the Carnage set. Not just because Venom doesn't have any stickers, but I've always liked Venom as a character better than Carnage. Was putting together and half way through discovered two missing pieces. Luckily I had a spare in my possession from previous builds. The jaw is very fragile, could have been designed better. Lastly, came with a very large random piece that wasn’t listed and not needed, some sort of technical piece. Very odd. Looks great once displayed but build was stressful and not fun.
As a longtime fan of the Marvel/Spider-Man universe, I’m happy to have this Venom bust set in my collection. But as a longtime-and-now-adult fan of LEGO I’m unfortunately not very wowed by this set. The set gets a few things right in my opinion, like Venom’s snarling teeth and slithering tongue. But the lack of detail, unlike that seen in the Carnage bust set, and odd design choices (not to mention essentially copy-and-pasting the design of the Carnage set) makes the set very underwhelming. The set is just pure black! No inclusion of grotesque details like those seen in the Carnage set.My verdict: if you love the character to death, then get it, you’ll enjoy having it in your collection. I find it to be far more gnarly-looking and surprisingly charming in design even after owning it since its release.
I was having fun making this bust. It's the first one I made! The beginning was easy as you are just building the main head which is more stable but as I got to the more finer details, some pieces started falling when I tried to click some of the other pieces together. The jaw was the most difficult part for me. I always felt panicked if I'm missing a couple pieces and I did! I wasn't necessarily missing persay but they were sort not the right size or angle to fit snugly. The box had some incorrect pieces for my build and made the jaw difficult to build and constantly break. I would've liked to have the jaw move more freely without worrying it'd break, but overall I had a fun experience!I think the high price could be because the franchising off of Marvel, but I ... I received this set earlier today from Amazon. Off the bat I gotta say that the box looks stunning. But there are some things that should’ve been improved upon in this set.For starters, I would say the building experience is sub-par. It’s mainly just putting plates on a stand, not like other sets where you get to put in stickers and stuff like that. Also something to note is, that this isn’t so much of a play set as a display set. Many pieces will come off very easily which I do not like. Also, for the $60 price tag I paid, I felt as if the experience was not ideal. As for other sets, like the technic corvette, you gets stuff like working steering and other mechanical parts like that. I love venom as he is my favorite marvel character and I think this set fits him well. So finally, I would say that this is a great buy (or gift) to someone who loves marvel. I don’t think you will be disappointed if you bought this set.
One of the best Lego purchases Ive made on eBay! Legos were sorted per bag and came in great packaging. Very easy to work with. Came on time!
I enjoy building this line of Lego. I started building about three years ago and this was the first time I came across missing pieces in my build. I was missing two of the same pieces. Luckily, it was all the way at the end of my build. So it’s 99% complete. I requested the missing parts and I am awaiting to receive those. Outside of the missing pieces it was a fun build and Venom looks really good displayed.
This one was a fun build! Def like the character! Neat way the build goes together. I lobe it. I will agree w others reviews attaching the lower jaw is a bit wonky. Not hard just seemed like extra steps. Also not quite sure what the green rods represent. Maybe slime cause Venom is a drooler?? Still a neat set! Thank you lego engineers!!
