A nice LARGE boat with plenty of room for minifigs. Comes with a little chopper helicopter, a submersible craft ( does not fit minifigs.. remote operation?) with a little launching crane on the back of the boat. control room is cool too. Has a mid-size raft with a really cool onboard motor and hood scoop with flame shooting out of one of the exhaust pipes.. Really lets the imagination soar.

Both 9-year-olds love to play with the bots -- combined with the Police boat set, there are plenty of "emergencies". Massive engine details, we've built cars and added these motors so they are no longer street-legal.

My 4 year old son and I built the boats together. He is a bit young but he is very enthusiastic. He liked that the set came with 2 different boats so he was able to have adventures with them without waiting for additional sets. The cost is a bit high compared to the fire truck and police vehicles, but the set is very fun for my boy. He likes it more than I thought he would.

The boats actually float and the Lego men only float with their life jackets on. My son 5 and daughter 4 love building it, they play with it in the bath also.
My 9-year-old son loves Legos and loves the bathtub. This purchase brought those two worlds together! He had fun building the boats, and both boats really do float. Great fun all the way around!
Just a great product
Product would have been great; however, box was severally damaged even though my outside box wasn't. Negates the benefit of shopping online when you have to go to the store to return or exchange!
I just received this in the mail the other day and have not had a chance to give it to my grandson for his 7th birthday. I am quite sure he will like it. His mom tells me he is really into the Legos stuff and especially not the name brand ones. So this fireboat is perfect for him. He lives by Lake Superior so he sees lots of boats and ships going in and out of port there. He's an energetic smart boy and he will like this gift, I am sure.
If it was made in the USA it would be even better.
I love legos they can keep the kids busy for hours and my grandson loves them.
