My son was absolutely delighted when he received this. He loves vehicles and has been jealous of older siblings Legos. this is the perfect little kit for him. ready to follow instructions for younger children and less pieces for assembly compared to kids geared toward older ages.

Our family loved this. Very easy directions for my son to do by himself. The truly step by step directions were perfect. Fun and creative scene. Helicopter propellers actually rotate. The rescue set up led to a lot of scenarios for his imagination. Water, fire, hotdogs, walkie talkie, and trash can.

My 4 year old absolutely loves this. He does however, constantly break it. So if you have kids that are a bit more rough on their toys, I would suggest gluing this together as it is being built. At least of they do not plan to rebuild it on their own. The directions were easy to follow with a bit of guidance. Overall this is cute but the pieces do end up all over the place.

I always like the little Lego kits I find at JoAnn checkout around Christmas. I always pick up several for my grandsons. they love Lego and really enjoyed putting together the fire helicopter this year.
My son loves putting together legos over the years starting with our early duplo sets. This helicopter fire set was easy for him to build and snap all pieces in place. The details are quite interesting such as the roasting hot dog and garbage pail fire. Great addition to our current lego collection!
Love this set, perfect for my 3.5yo! Just enough pieces to help him put together without him getting frustrated. Only critique is that the fire that goes into the garbage pail is freestanding and loose. Seems like an odd design flaw- you’d think it should be made so the fire could snap into place so it wouldn’t fall out easily?!
I recently got this set for my younger son to try. He loves building with Legos and really likes the sets, but struggles with the complexity of most of the sets due to his age. This set was PERFECT for him. The instructions were easy for him to follow with a little bit of guidance and the piece count was just enough so that it wasn't overwhelming. In addition, he loves helicopters. He was beyond proud after completing this set and loved the finished product. Great little set for the younger builders in your home.
Got this for my son's 7th birthday. Recently he got a ton of Legos for Christmas but those were bulk sets. Wanted to get him a small set that he could follow the directions to and put together all by himself. It took some time but he did it and oh is he so proud of it. We e en had to call grandma on video chat so he could show it off.
This was smaller than I was expecting but it was the perfect size for my grandson. We were able to assemble this together and had a great time doing it. My grandson said this is his new favorite lego set. It already has a place on his lego shelf. We can't wait to get more to put together.
Its a snow day today, and me and my 6 year old are at the table building some Lego sets. We're starting with this Helicopter, it's a small one 53 pieces.Me and my son really enjoy Lego sets now that we can download them to his tablet and it actually shows him step by step how to build them. The app is definitely a positive for me because my son feels good and like he really accomplished something doing it on his own. I take my son to the store and let him pick out some toys when he has enough money saved. When we got there and he picked Legos I'm like 'aww man!' thinking about all the little pieces and instructions. I then seen the app that can be downloaded and that was a game changer, we know love Legos. I definitely recommend these they are so easy for the kids ...
