Great lego set, bought on sale. Recieved it really quickly with standard delivery. Which I was very happy about.I started building the set straight away. Great build, filled with lots of disney history. The film full of references to disney movies albeit not all of the disney animated movie collection. And each of these stills have had a lego revamp; so think backgrounds made up of lego flames, branches and leaves. As soon as I saw this set on the LEGO website, I knew I had to have it. As a photographer, having a set that's dedicated to being a camera is amazing. Also getting Walt put together in the first bag gave me some fun little photo ideas of him overseeing the build. So much amazing detail was put in to this set. Only thing I wish I had was something to add a little tension to the clacker mechanism inside the camera. As a long time disney fan, the stories in the instruction booklet, the mickey and minnie figures as well as bambi and dumbo, are so cute. This is a perfect piece of Old Hollywood. The design is clever, fun to build, neat "studio" with the characters and the overlaying animation cells. Maybe somehow lighting that part would have been an nice extra, but shine a flashlight behind them and it's cool. The "camera sound" is fun. The drawing studio inside the camera is clever. The strip of film adds distinction and history. I really like it.

This was the first Lego build that I have completed as an adult and I had an excellent time. The build itself was engaging with not many parts that were repetitive. The product itself is fantastic and the completed build looks amazing. I have tried moving it a couple of times and apart from the '1' in the 100 sign everything else is stable and keeps intact. Although there are a few interactive parts of this I don't think I would touch it too much as it is a display piece rather than something to play with. The side part of the build is interesting with the triple layer film and the 5 minifigs that come with it are fantastic. Overall extremely happy with this and has started a fire within for more Lego builds in future.

First and foremost, I’m a filmmaker so this really feels like the perfect LEGO set for me.It took me approx 2hrs to build, so a relatively easy assembly - but with some slightly challenging technic pieces to assemble the head of the tripod.The attention to detail with the camera is amazing, and I especially love the intentional sound effect of the film rolling when turning the crank.However, I do feel the build is slightly wobbly - especially with so much interactivity on the camera. I'm thrilled with how much this product adds to the already amazing Lego set, I didn't realize that the power pack was included so this was a really nice bonus! I had a little issue with sticking some of the stop lights as the tape wasn't holding, however it was an easy fix with a bit of glue I added myself. Instructions where easy to follow, this was my first time adding lights to a Lego set and I had no issues, some tweezers helped me along the way, however really easy to follow instructions! Great product and highly recommend, looks even better in person than in the photos!!!
