LEGO Elves Rosalyn's Healing Hideout (41187)

My 9yr old daughter loves Lego Elves and even watched their shows! Fun to put together and I think she even showed me that it came with a tiny lego dragon. The only negative is that Sapphire is a bit smaller than expected, but she still loved it!

The Lego set itself is good and exactly what I expected. I ordered 2 different sets online to be shipped to me. Both looked great in the brown Target box, but when I opened them to wrap them the Lego box was smashed and there were box knife marks. I am confident by the amount of bubbles in the package that I did not cause the damage. Disappointed to have to wrap gifts that are in that condition. I will only be shopping in store moving forward.

Beautiful dragon and lovely new elf

I love the lego elves sets and collect them all, so I couldn't wait to buy this as soon as it was released. I was not disappointed, the dragon is beautiful as is Rosalyn - its nice to have a new elf! The dragon is not quite as big as I expected, very slightly bigger than the water dragon - none the less I love the design of this dragon, both the colour and the design of the build. The elves sets just get better and better. Thank you lego.

Good price, arrived slightly damaged though

The price was good, it arrived when it said it would but the box it was sent in was crushed one side like it had had heavy boxes put on top of it which lead to the packaging of the Lego to be crushed too. I was able to bend most of the dents back out and my daughter didn't seem to notice come Christmas morning so overall happy with my purchase.

Great build

So cool! Fun to build. Easy to follow instructions. The elves sets are usually less detailed than the other LEGO sets but this one has plenty. My daughter adores it.

My favorite set so far!

I really love this set. The colour scheme is so pretty as are all the little details like the sparkly mushrooms, potion bottles, crystals and pumpkins, and all the cute little accessories. The rotating branches are also a really nice feature!Sapphire the dragon is the same size as Merina the water dragon and she is so pretty and magical. I think Rosayln is one of my favorite elves, she looks so mysterious and mystical! You also get an adorable baby dragon Lula and a little mouse that are blue and pink, again adding to the gorgeous colour scheme this set has!My one complaint is that the dark blue stickers have white edges which stand out against the bricks, so they don't blend in so well.Overall this set is SO pretty and pleasing to look at.. Small for the price

Okay, so as of today (9 June 2017) this set is $49.99. It is the size you'd expect from a kit in the $15-$19.99 range. I'm not sure if it is because there are a bunch of accessories or if this is a newer set, but it is pricey. Now, is it worth the extra cash? In my opinion no. The decals on the dragon are stickers not printed pieces. The set is fairly small. One tree house type structure and a dragon along with a few mini things added. Now, the set is cute and would add nicely to any Elves village you may have created, but I wouldn't get this set alone as you will be bored. The quality is the same Lego quality we all know and love. The colors are bright. But I wouldn't recommend this set at this price, it isn't worth it. Wait until it's on sale.

Very Cute! Definitely One Of My Favorite, But...

This set is super adorable and I love it! Sapphire was a very fun build and shes so small and cute! (Especially when posed to sit like a puppy!) I suppose the one thing that bothers me is Rosalyn. (My favorite character) It's a tiny thing really, but her face was printed on too low and it makes her look doofy... It didn't bother me too much at first, but over time seeing her on display started irking me a little? Another thing is that I just kinda wish there was a bit more? I feel like the tree house is lacking a bit. The top could use depth. and the Branches are a bit thin as far as foliage goes. Maybe a sort of Creativity Set in the Elves sets' softer colors would be a good idea?

What a great set

This is a fantastic set for young and old, though I'm a little biased as I like to think the set was named after me!The colours are bright and vibrant and there are so many smaller elements included to make this set very play worthy.Being one of the cheaper sets I think it is great value for money and would certainly recommend it.

Wonderful set!

I bought this for my 10-year olds birthday. She loves it. The dragon is very impressive. This is a great series and the healing hut is perfect for her as I am a herbalist and my daughter loves making healing potions for her LEGO creatures. Fun to build and play with.
