LEGO Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire Beauxbatons Carriage: Arrival

This is my first set build. It was quite fun to see it come alive with all the little details. I love how the carriage opens to allow for a different view. I also purchased the Whomping willow set and the large Hogwarts set. Starting the Whomping Willow tomorrow. I might need to buy more...

Beautiful Set Made Just Like Potter

This was such a fun build. This build is a small build and intended for one to build not a share build as with larger LEGO items. I love all of the LEGO Harry Potter LEGOs and have bought all that Walmart carries. Just like the others this set is just as beautifully made. All of the designs and people are correct. The inside pops open for more of a fun interactive toy if that is its ourpose or great to show. It was an mid-easy build for a teenage or adult a child may need belp because there are stickers to put on and some small pieces. I really love this set!

Beautiful carriage, fun to build

Ok so there were seven Pegasus pulled this carriage in the movie, but having two in the set work just fine. While I know that there needs to be space between the horses to allow the wingspans, that aspect of the set seemed a little clunky and not fitting with the design of the carriage itself. But! The design and colors of the carriage more than make up for it. Easily accessibility to get into the carriage and the tea set it came with is awesome! Loved this set!

Beauxbatons visite Hogwarts

Great set to expand your Lego Harry Potter universe!A wonderful set to build with some fantastic details and play features!A wonderful set to add to your collection and a set that's sure to get attention in your display. It comes with some brilliant minifigs to expand your collection. Now that they've arrived at Hogwarts I can't wait for Durmstrang to follow!

Better than expected!

I buy all of the Harry Potter sets indiscriminately because I am a huge fan of the books. This one was unexpectedly charming. I love the blue coloring and the Beauxbatons uniforms! There are much better play features than expected - the second floor gives a great sleeping area for figures, as well as a little tea party scene. Yule Ball Hagrid figure pairs nicely with the clocktower, and I like to have Yule Ball Hermione arrive at Hogwarts in this beautiful carriage. Lots of fun possibilities to create Goblet of Fire scenes!

Happy Grandson

Bought this as an adhoc gift for our grandson to give him a little project during lockdown. He has a large HP Lego collection and this was one of the few kits he didn't have. It was very well received! Already looking at what to gift next. Usually use click and collect but tried out the home delivery method- cost was bit less than the manufacturers

Limited Horsepower

I like the individual elements of the set regardless of H.P.. I bought it variously for the horses, the carriage and the Hagrid figure, largely because of that great beard-hair piece. But the figure itself is fairly versatile, especially for the technic pin arms.My one complaint and this was not clear to me from the images, is that the horse to carriage size proportion is downright comical. The carriage looks as though it is being pulled by miniature pegasi. With that said there were images that did not place the horses in front of the carriage (which give the horses a forced, larger perspective to the carriages slightly distant and smaller perspective), however I clearly was not paying attention. Still, I like the set for all the useful elements and the ... MoreI like the individual elements of the set regardless of H.P.. Madame Maxime Arrives

Although the carriage only appears briefly in the film Goblet Of Fire it is a pretty iconic image and when I saw this kit I really had to have it. I was not disappointed at all when I started to build, it is quite intricate and fiddly but I really enjoyed every second of this build. There is a really clever use of colour on the bricks and the included decal sheet just helps to lift the overall look.Even better the side of the carriage lifts up and clips open to create a playset over two levels. The included minifigures of Fleur and her sister fit well and can be enclosed in the carriage when the sides are closed. Lots of play value with this one and it looks the part if you just want to add it to a display. The horses are only partially articulated but they can ... MoreAlthough the carriage only appears briefly in the film Goblet Of Fire it is a pretty iconic image and when I saw this kit I really had to have it. Unexpected Beauty

Never expected this to be a set since the scene in the movie is very short, but wow it's amazing, LEGO really didn't cut any corners in this set.Minifigures:Hagrid has a great new torso print which was much needed.Madame Maxime has a great new torso and leg print.Fleur Delacour has a fantastic new hair/hat combo and DUAL MOLDED LEGS in a new color yes!!!Gabrielle has dual sided face hinting at more future sets.Build:The colors are fantastic, with LEGO including a lot of new gold pieces. Very Detailed and Beautiful

This is a great set! The minifigures are exceptionally well done -- I love Hagrid's design and Fleur's duel molded legs in particular. The carriage is very detailed with some interesting upside building in the interior. It's a very dense set in the sense that there's a lot going on in a very small space. Price is a bit high for the piece count, but I think that's okay given the number of specialty pieces in the set (e.g. the horse wings). The stickers are bit of a bummer, but they're acceptable in this context.
