As a family we enjoyed playing every title in the Harry Potter Lego series games. The graphics were fun and reflected what you would expect in a Lego universe. The characters were easily to control and navigate throughout the screen. The game had many options for what to explore so it was easy to play multiple times without feeling like you were just repeating everything. The games followed the books storyline pretty succinctly. Overall very enjoyable family time games!

Both myself and my teenage daughter loves anything Lego, and she’s a huge Harry Potter fan. We absolutely love these games! The graphics are great, and the play is fun and without being extremely difficult. They pretty much follow the storyline from the movies, with the player being able to do some things that makes play different. I am not a gamer (unless it’s Sims or Mario), but I thoroughly enjoy these games without getting frustrated at the amount of content that I can’t “beat”. If you’re a LEGO and/or Harry Potter fan, I believe you will love these games as much as we do!

My family and I are hooked on the Lego games. Everyone can play. Our youngest is 9; oldest is 16. But we’ve been playing these as a family since our youngest was 6. I especially love the Harry Potter Lego games for PlayStation. It sparks nostalgia…you can relive the movies as you explore the levels and unlock new characters. And there are funny bits. I’d also recommend Lego Star Wars games for all the same reasons. When we aren’t doing board games on Family Game night, we have controllers in our hands.

This was the best $69 I ever spent in my life! I just got done designing my Room of Requirements the first time. It doesn't seem like it from the previews but the game is stunning! The main story arc and quest is so strong-probably the best part about this game is the main storyline. And there's just so many details packed into all the locations -it's blowing me away. I love my character and it really feels like I'm in my own movie. (I thought it would feel like doing chores like the app game but it's like nothing else HP has produced). You can do everything HP related here: fly brooms, make potions, go to classes, explore the grounds and the forbidden forest, shop at Hogsmeade, death party with ghosts, duel. You can do everything HP related here: fly brooms, make potions, go to classes, explore the grounds and the forbidden forest, shop at Hogsmeade, death party with ghosts, duel. Then there's so many clothing options that you pick up everywhere and pick up talents/skills which are beautifully illustrated. The second best thing about the game is just the magical accents/like the movements for spells and the way the objects twist and turn. The effects are spectacular. The third highlight is that the characters/people look so good in the Unreal Engine. It's my favorite rendering of people. The cinematic scenes are so nice. Some of the fighting/enemies and sets reminds me of God of War (the reboot) while the wild areas remind me of Witcher. That's how tough it can get right from the start battling enemies. It caught me off guard. It doesn't feel like an RPG but really like a good open world. The characters are actually charming though they could've been named better. I like them. The only improvements for me: some of the hallways feel too ivy league college like therefore surprisingly mundane (maybe it's the classical music and marble), the kitchen was a bit dreary and let me down, imagined the forbidden forest/library to be different, but mostly: the map could look better and be easier to use. But there's an insane amount of detail that went into this game - it's magical that it exists and functions so well! 11/10 The best game I've ever played!! Wish I could choose my own Patronus in a future game. Update: The season changed and now it's gorgeous fall in Hogsmeade and around Hogwarts. OMG there's a mini game where you can remodel your own Room of Requirements (mine is very BeautyTheBeast meets Sleeping Beauty like) which looks phenomenal and transfigure designs and colors and add props. I just had the best time cause it'll unlock a quest series where you can be like Newt Scamander and collect wild beasts and take them back to your own Vivarium. I even got a shiny Jabberknoll and am stoked to catch a niffler or unicorn next. You can collect pets basically and gather materials from them to upgrade your equip which is great cause I really like my go-to uniform. It made me realize just how large this map is- there's little communities I'm supposed to go to and now dens. Ive been flying my broom around (also upgradable) instead of exploring. Wow they put so much work into this game!

Review of NINTENDO SWITCH LEGO Harry Potter Years 1 - 7 Collection

Good Points: For Harry Potter fans, it is a delight. Lego pokes fun at the storyline it an inventive and clever way.Great for Harry Potter obsessed singletons or couples. It half an action game and half a puzzle. The puzzles can be incredibly frustrating at times but mostly in a satisfying way. There are plenty of online walkthroughs though if you get truly stumped. The Nintendo switch version of Harry Potter from the e-shop seems tempting (I got it at first) but crashes a lot so definitely buy the physical card version. There is nothing worse then losing an entire game's progress.Improvement Points: There are a few switches in controls between Years 1-4 and Years 5-7. This happens rarely but when it does is very very annoying.

THE BEST LEGO GAME. Everything about this game is amazing. Ive only had one problem so far, and it was during The Chamber of Secrets with Aragog. My game froze and crashed and I had to re-do the progress from that level. Other than that, its been perfect! Good quality and so much fun to go through the story that we see in the books and films. I love how you learn spells over time and unlock more characters! Im hoping Ill get a chance to be draco. I recommend this to any and every potterhead!

Not only is it my favourite Lego game but it’s also my second favourite Harry Potter game! I first played the PS4 version of it and while the PS5 version does look better and runs better , I would mainly recommend this version to anyone who doesn’t own the previous version or someone (like me) who just loves this game and wants to play it again but with a fresh coat of paint over it.Disclaimer: The PS4 version had one platinum trophy per game (2 total) but this version will only grant you one for completing both games

This pack came with both games. Lego Harry 1 and Lego Harry 2 with both games encompassing years 1 through 7 of Hogwarts. It’s a standard Lego game fun to play with others more than by yourself. The arguing is like half the fun with these games, at least that’s what I remember about playing Lego games on an Xbox360. This game is a nice piece of childhood without some of the puzzles being too easy

This game is an absolute blast to play! I originally played this on the Nintendo DS, and remember some parts of it being infuriating. I am here to tell you that this is a completely different game! Fans of the books AND movies will appreciate this, even folks that think that they've outgrown the series. While playing this, I had such joy for much of it, and was happy to share that joy with others while streaming on Twitch! There are only a few things, thus far, that keep me from giving it a 5 (though MAN its so close!) The game crashed the first time I played it, but that has NOT happened again since, so i'm writing it off as a fluke. The other part that can be kinda infuriating is trying to trigger the spell that you want on the item that you want every time. SO ... MoreThis game is an absolute blast to play! The game crashed the first time I played it, but that has NOT happened again since, so i'm writing it off as a fluke. The other part that can be kinda infuriating is trying to trigger the spell that you want on the item that you want every time. SO MANY SPELLS/ACTIONS require you to use the same button, and although you think that you're casting "Wingardium Leviosa" on a certain object, another one responds OR something else happens entirely (or, you're trying to use the Triangle button to use one of the vehicles and you end up trading characters- which is ALSO what the triangle button does). For the most part, though, its not THAT hard to strugglebus through those difficulties. The gameplay is refreshingly easy most of the time, so its fun just to sit back, relax and explore Hogwarts again and again. The game has high replayability for me, as a completionist, once I finish the game and unlock all of the spells/enchantments/powers that each character has to offer, I can then replay the whole game and get all of the extras I couldn't get the first time. SO Fun, delightful and refreshing!
