The courtyard is a perfect size and a very detailed set up. The brooms are my favorite, sets me up for hours of play time!

I think my favorite piece is Buckbeak that has wings that move. The pieces are well made and look very close to the Harry Potter characters. I am excited that this set can be added to the other Hogwarts castle construction too.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This set is a fun build with lots of details, such as spell books, a flying broom, a spiral staircase, and a prison cell. My kids love the flying Hippogriff figure and the open walls of the castle make playing easy. This set lacks some of the interactivity of other LEGO sets but is still good for imaginative play. I would recommend for young Harry Potter fans.

This is a great set!! I really love buckbeak and the faithful attention to detail from this scene in the movie. Sirius is able to fly free from the tower and send Harry his Firebolt broomstick! Where this set really shines is when it is added to the other Hogwarts sets in this line. The courtyard and tower add new angles to your castle that look spectacular for display and play! Will probably end up buying a second one to add on even more!

But I will say this set seems like it’s missing something for the price. The build and set is very average at best and lacks detail. Buckbeak is a nice and fun addition and I like the movable wings.

The details on the castle exterior look great. The stickers weren't too hard to place correctly. To be fair, we have experience with the stickers, and they can be challenging for some. The mini figures have two facial expressions to choose from. Yay, we have a Buckbeak. I love the color of the wings. The floors hold together well. The set has a narrow footprint which is great for display. It doesn"t lend itself to imaginative play, though. Overall this is a good set for Harry Potter fans. I do wish it were a little less expensive.

They are avid Harry Potter fans so they were super excited to get this! The instructions were also easy to follow.
