LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Far from Home: Hydro-Man Attack 76129 Building

Where to begin? Everything about this set is amazing!!! I love all the little details, from the studs on the side to allow Spider-Man to climb on the walls, to the overall excellent look of the coffee shop and bridge, the clever design of the hydro-man build, and the little rat under the bridge who looks like a certain rat from a certain recent Marvel movie. Most importantly though, apart from the side-studs, this has an exploding bridge function and an exploding floor function perfectly disused under the table. The Hydro-man minifigure is great, and the stand he's on looks a lot like water spiraling upward. Peter is a great minifigure but I do wish his face print was more accurate. Mysterio should have had blue power blasts and an alternate face to make him different from Molten-Man battle, but he is still great. Overall, it isn't perfect, but Hydro Man Attack is still easily my favorite set from 2019 so far.

Pros: This is a play set done right. $.08 per part makes this set a good value. This set has great part variety and does a good job putting together the scene from the movie. The figures are great too. Mysterio isn't totally movie accurate BUT he is close enough. Love the variation on Spider-man a lot because we get SO many of him its nice to have a unique version. I really like the build...it isn't too complex BUT it feels like the scene and is stable enough for kids to move and play with. I went and brought this set from the entertainer toy shop for £34.99 as I couldn't find any good sets that would really focus on my city theme.When I looked at this set, I thought, well I might as well get it, I have never really been into superheros and that type of thing but as it was priced all right (and for the sake of buying something), I bought it.Turned out to be a really good set, lovely caffe, lovely bridge and plenty of action!! Would recommend purchasing!!
