My son got this venomosaurus ambush Lego set a weeks ago and since that day my 7 year old boy keeps playing with it. It was kind of easy to put all the pieces together but i want to be honest it took like a half of hour to finish it, but when my son finished building his Lego set he was really happy and he has not stop playing with his Lego set. I would like to say that this one is great for kids to build and for Lego collectors. This one will keep kids busy on this days at home.

I for one am a true lego fan. I have bought many sets and have devoted my bedroom into a lego room. I have built for a long time and when i saw this set, i instantly wanted to buy it. It DEFINITELY lived up to my personal hype. I really like how the spiderman vehicle isnt too big aand is a good size compared to the venom dinosaur. I really like the asthetics as well as the overall play features! Great set LEGO!

Last xmas I bought my son Lego (76115) Spider-Mech vs Venom, which has 604 pieces for a RRP of £44.99, this set has RRP £74.99 for 640 pieces, that's £30 for 36 more pieces. Both sets have 4 mini figures. The price per piece value for this set about 11.7p per piece - that's about average for Lego. Why 76115 had a very low price per piece value of 7.4p per piece I don't know but it makes buying this set full price difficult!

My 8 year old son received the Lego Venomosaurus Ambush free to review. He really loved playing with this and enjoyed building it. The age is for 8 and up, however there were some steps that were a bit challenging for him to do. And there was a part on the Venomosaurus that didn't stay on well. But he loves the mini figs that it come with too.
Excellent mix of characters. First LEGO appearance Spider-Ham, updated/ improved Iron-Spider, Spider-Man, and Venom. But to round it all out Venom symbiote meets T-Rex and a solid vehicle. Highly recommend.
The vehicle is alright, the mini figures are great, but the actual venomosaurus is spectacular. The several points of articulation make it very posable. Just watch out that you don’t lose any claws from the feet. My son just turned 7 and is an avid Lego fan. He was able to build it with almost no guidance; I would say it’s age appropriate for 7+ for one who builds frequently.
Bought this as a gift as my son really wanted it and it is a nice set but very poor value for money. I think it represents a £50 to £60 but not £75 to £85. There are far better sets for the £80 price point and I think lego and smythes have been really greedy on this occasion. As a big fan and consumer of lego this one leaves a slightly bad taste.
This Lego set was a big hit in our family. We really enjoyed working on it together as a family. It is for ages 8+. My 9 year old lost interest in building it so it became a family thing and we all built it together. We spent about 3 hours building this set. and it was so much fun! We even enjoyed playing with the figures after.The details of this set is nice and they look cool. We really love Venomosaurus he is our favorite.. we thought he would be a bit larger in size but overall he's cool!We will be displaying this set on a shelf and the kiddos will be able to take it down and play with it. Although the build tome was a little longer than expected this LEGO structure definitely blew our impressions out of the water. My son hasn’t stopped playing with since we built it. We have had to reconstruct pieces my the Dino, but that hasn’t stopped the want to play with it.
I got this for my nephew he is a superhero fanatic! Spiderman being one of his all time favorites. The directions we're very clear and easy, many great features. I loved seeing him with the finished product putting his imagination to the test. I definitely recommend this to anyone considering getting one, for their little superhero!!!
