My son is 9 and a huge fan of lego ninjago. This kit is amazing. I started off by helping him build, until he gained the confidence to build on his own. Lots of pieces but not an overly difficult build. He took his time with the build and enjoyed doing up to an hour each night. The best part is, it can be played with as well as using as a display piece if wanted. He has a sense of pride when playing, knowing that he has built it. Its sturdy when built and no pieces fall off.

My 9 year loved this Lego set. He is still busy putting it together. There are lots of smart accessories in this set that my son loved. It looks beautiful too!

Bought this for my 14 year old grandson who adores all things Lego and he said it was amazing. He had it built by Christmas Day teatime and loved doing it. Highly recommend this set despite it being a little on the expensive side as it was worth every penny to see how much pleasure it gave him!

Ninjago hydro bounty is a great Lego set , my son and daughter love Ninjago and both of them had a great fun building this with each others help. They found the instructions easy to follow, It kept them busy for a while and it didn't take long for them to complete building this marvellous piece. After building the set they would play with it for many hours,pretending to fight with Lego Ninjago characters that came with the package.
I was gifted this product as part of a review scheme. I am a teacher in year 3 and gave it to my class. Well.. what can I say! They were overjoyed when they saw the picture on the box of what it will turn into once built. I will say that this is not a set that can be completed quickly. We have been working on building one bag a day. There are a lot of instructions which are easy to follow. It can be quite fiddly and there are a lot of small pieces! You definitely need to ensure that there’s an adult supporting and supervising the building of this set. Once complete, it is fantastic for hours of play! There are lots of Lego figures with funky outfits and hair that come with the set too - which my kids loved.
My 4 yo and I loved this build. He is quite advanced with Lego, but the complexity level provided the opportunity for working together whilst the fun bubble covers and colourful pieces helped keep him engaged. He's enjoying customising the subs and Price Kalmar's chariot. Whilst the build is fragile, it is still possible for us to play with it.

Each bag of Lego was numbered which made it easy for us to keep track of. We made it in instructions order which was an easier way to follow and complete. We made a video of each component part of the set and will be posting this online once it has been edited. The bricks click together with a reassuring 'snap' and my son found it handy having the removal tool supplied of great help when a piece was placed incorrectly. Well i got this for my grandson as we needed a new challenge . I loved playing with classic lego as a child but the new styles are much more fun watching my grandson teach me how this kit goes together was amazing easy to follow instructions he's only 6 but he flew through the build and he had many hours of laughing and joking certainly brings family's together will now start a collection of lego projects we build together.Just be careful with the little bits they can be tricky with little ones amd with old people with funky fingers :)
Looks cool with fun details on the outside, but the quality of the connections is horrible. My son cannot touch it without it falling apart- especially the engines. My son is crestfallen. Not the cheapest set either!
After having this Hydro Bounty set for a couple of weeks, (my son and I) found some shared time to put it together. As he has aspergers it takes him a little longer to get the hang of this kind of thing but is very happy he has finished it. There are 10 little mini figures with this set, they are: Scuba Kai, Scuba Nya, Scuba Zane, Scuba Jay, Scuba Cole and Scuba Lloyd, all with flippers, diving gear and weapons to fight the villainous quartet of Prince Kalmaar, a Maaray Guard and 2 Wu Bots.The Ninjago Hydro Bounty is suitable for 9 years+ and has 1159 pieces! Perfect for any Lego fan!
