Quick delivery, a bag was split open and pieces missing, but that was from the factory as the box was factory sealed, soon ordered the missing parts from lego directly to continue the build. This thing is huge and makes a great display piece, a couple of tricky bits during construction, but nothing major. Definitely worth the price.

What's not to like, this is amazing, I always wanted this one, I missed out on the smaller one when it came our years ago, so when this arrived, snapped it up, Zavvi are great! Built with joy! Its big so make sure you've got somewhere to showcase this piece!

I absolutely love the Star Wars adult sets, yes they’re pricey but there is just nothing like them! So detailed and so satisfying to build! Don’t hesitate to buy!

Enjoyed building this. Took a lot of time which I liked. Very detailed on every aspect of the ship. Only downside is not many mini figures but still a great buy.
Always wanted a Gunship and was delighted they released a UCS version. Looks amazing on its stand, its huge !!! Not too difficult and its really sturdy. Received within 2 days from Zavvi, as always great service.
As a fan of the prequel trilogy, this set is a must have. I had high expectations for this set and it still managed to surpass them. This thing is HUGE, bigger than you expect it to be, and a lot of large pieces are used for its construction, something I greatly enjoy in Lego sets as I can't be bothered with all the tiny pieces. The two minifigures are decent too. There are a decent amount of stickers which isn't great, and I believe they are all clear backed which again is a bit of a negative. Despite that, this is an amazing set that I highly recommend. My order of this product took two months to get to me, which is pretty horrendous, especially when you're paying for delivery! I understand there was issues with stock as I bought it when on sale, but the product ... MoreAs a fan of the prequel trilogy, this set is a must have. The LEGO Star Wars Republic Gunship, a set that fans have been waiting for and I'm sure if your reading this the biggest question on your mind is, was it worth the wait?. Well comrades I can gladly say it was, it's a great set that has a fun, yet challenging build process that provides a great deal of satisfaction once finished. The Box: The box similar to other UCS boxes was quite basic but looked good and provide a clear shot of what you're getting. The bags were well sorted in the box with a sub box for bags 1-9 or possibly to 10, i can't remember exactly. The Instructions: The instructions were clear as day, for the most part, there were some times where the instructions were somewhat unclear and you would have to spend a few minutes figuring it what the step ... MoreThe LEGO Star Wars Republic Gunship, a set that fans have been waiting for and I'm sure if your reading this the biggest question on your mind is, was it worth the wait?. However, I can't stress enough the importance of paying attention to the instructions especially when building the wings. The Build:The build was excellent from the gunship to the stand, all parts of the build was extremely enjoyable to build and I have nothing bad to say about the build other than, well stickers, the stickers are great quality it is just tedious to put them on the set, and for a majority, they're clear so extra care must be taken, but other than that excellent build. The Minifigures:This annoys me, the Minifigures are actually great, while I do agree a Phase 2 Cody and Jedi Bob would be nice, I understand LEGO reasoning for not doing so, which if you arer interested you can watch for yourself. Many people have gotten salty at LEGO for the figures and it's utterly ridiculous with many stating "I'm not buying because there's no Cody and bob". You don't buy a bloody $560 set for figures and LEGO since basically ever has never put many figures in UCS set's the biggest expectation being the UCS Millennium Falcon. The Minifigures (Mace Windu and a Phase 1 Clone Commander) are great figures, extremely well done, my only complaint would be Mace's facial expression as I feel it doesn't fit the character, but other than that great.Final Product:The set speaks for its self just look at it and you'll know straight away if you love it or not, myself loving the set, for its accuracy, detail and of course size.ConclusionIf you have the money and are star wars all-round fan I highly second the set for all the reasons listed above and please don't let the Minifigure selection deter you. That's all hope you found the review helpful.
Omgosh. The drop ship is awesome. This is my third set (first being the falcon followed by the cantina). Theyre challenging but so much fun to assemble. I would recommend them to any Lego enthusiast.
Brought a total of 4 gunships. The 1st is the original with Padme theme. The 2nd is converted to the 332nd Company commanded by Ahsoka. Still not sure about the 3rd MOC gunship conversion. But the last will be unbox forever.
always been a massive star wars fan and was trying to get hold of this for ages. such a fun build to do and took a good amount of time too. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!! lobe these stars wars collectors builds.
