Star Wars sets have been around for a long time now; this set alone is the 12th Star Wars advent calendar. There are so many Star Wars Legos, it can be difficult for these calendars to feel like they offer something special. I think this one found the sweet spot. There is enough new things here that are well designed and incorporate the holiday theme in a fun way to appeal to long time and new fans alike.

The Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar for 2022 was a complete masterpiece. It came with some amazing mini figures, like Summer Darth Vader. The Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar also includes some classic scaled down Star Wars ships. Over all amazing set, definitely deserves 5 stars.

My kid got two duplicates (2 clone trooper commanders and 2 Hoth Luke skywalkers) already within 21 days. It might be one of the bad sets. However, my son is a big Star Wars lego fan, and he is very disappointed for the duplicates and worried about missing his favorite minifigure of Darth Vader summer outfit as there are only 3 days left.

My little boy was so excited to open this yesterday, but as he did we realised the Lego that he got on day 1 didn’t match the pic on the door, so now we can’t build it. I thought it might only be just the one off, but we opened it today and the same thing has happened, should be storm trooper but got something else, which we cant build without the picture on the door, unless we open every door, which I’m not going to do as it spoils the point of opening 1 a day. My 6 year old son is so disappointed and upset, we’re now just going to have to figure the builds out as we go along which is really disappointing. Hopefully we will get a figure tomorrow as so far havnt had any and we will be able to actually build 1 of those.
My almost 6 year old is absolutely enthralled with this advent calendar. So far the builds have been simple enough to do by himself but still complex enough to be entertaining (he often builds 10 age rated on his own), plus he loves star wars. We are so happy with this calendar this year, we have had no errors so far (which is a common complaint among the community) and only have two days to go. Perfect advent calendar for any lego and star wars enthusiasts.
We are currently on Day 11 and four of the days we have had issues. One of the days, the item was a duplicate from a day before. Three of the other days have not matched the directions on the flap. We purchased this calendar theme last year for our son and we were very happy with it. However, considering the numerous errors so far, I’m sure there will be more to come. We will not purchase again next year.
I purchased this for my son as I do every year. He and I really enjoy them. We had a lot go on over the holidays and the calendar got forgotten about. My son recently rediscovered it and completed it. Unfortunately when he got to the 24th day he opened a second tie fighter instead of the holiday r2-d2. We are big fans of the calendars and will continue to buy them, but if there is anything you can do about the missing holiday r2-d2 we would appreciate it.
For the most part things have been going smoothly. Some of the builds are a bit difficult because the instructions are so small. However, I opened day #7 and there was nothing there. I opened the box to see if it may have gotten into another slot but it was not there. Kind of disappointed. The idea is fun, and it is nice you get some extra pieces, but a bit disappointed that an entire day was missing.
I've been buying these advent calendars for years and each Star Wars one seems to get worse and worse. This year, half the days were obscure scenery or random ships that took longer than it should to figure out how to construct. I tossed a few days in my scrap pile because it was something like a square with a hole in it. What is that supposed to be? The 4 (yes, only FOUR) minifigures were great, but the rest was junk. Plus, why have a summer Darth Vader in a Christmas related calendar? He's cute, but not what you are expecting in an advent calendar.
Both this for my husband and I. We generally get either Santa or Star Wars ones. My box was sealed. We opened the first few days and then tried to build them and none of the bags matched the pictures. Turned out the inner box was put in turned around. Opened the instructions in the Lego app to build them. My husband gave up on his as the instructions were too obscure for him to figure out (he is an intermediate builder). I pity anyone who bought this calendar for 8-12 year old kids. Especially for the days we’re there is no picture of the finished model on the box. First time we have ever been disappointed with a Lego product.
