I appreciate LEGO for using a new head printing piece for Luke to make it accurate to the battle on hoth. Also, the brick built vehicles are not too shabby either. They translated quite well into micro fighter form. Overall, the figure selection is great for the price. The two mini figures definitely provide great value, considering that Luke is exclusive to this set. If you are going to buy any set from this wave, this is the one. My grandson has been a Lego fan from a young age. Now he is a devoted Star Wars fan. Joann's is the only place I have seen this particular set of Legos, so when I was searching for a special Christmas gift for him, I saw this great little set at a good price and was so excited. I write this review through the eyes of my almost 6yo daughter. Now that she built few small/medium sets, she easily put the taun-taun together while I was assembling the AT-AT. This micro-fighter is a great set to build together, talk about the story behind the set, and play together. 200+ pieces with 2 minifigures with the trademark rights is definitely a bargain. The quality is great. If I were to find something to do better for the next version (in few years from now), would be to try to articulate the legs of the taun-taun so the one playing with the AT-AT can chase the other playing with the Taun-taun.In any case, it is one of the best Star Wars made recently and allows for introducing the saga to the next generation.

My wife and daughter bought this for me on my birthday. I never thought of purchasing the microfighters before but after this build, im all in. To be honest, im a huge empire fan when it comes to SW so im loving the AT AT for the detail, how it can be posed and a new stormtrooper! However thats not to say i hate the tauntaun. Its a fun build too and i like the luke minifig. As cute as it is, it feels like its missed the mark. Its not possable as the AT AT is and luke is standing on its back where a lego horse the minifig fits inside a slot in the horses back. I think the same could be done here.REGARDLESS its a fun build and most certainly a great addiction...i mean addition to my starwars collection.100% recommend this.

The legs aren’t as posable, but it makes up for itself by being more accurate.I rarely modify my Lego builds, however I did find the AT-AT to be a little bit chonky. I remedied this by removing the 2x4 grey plates from the sides to slim him down.As a bonus… You can take off the control panel and the ingot piece, then use the 2x4 plate as a roof! Really nice Hoth set - the 2 microfighters look great - as well as the two minifigures. The directions were great and nice build. The legs on the walker move and the walker looks awesome! The tauntaun looks great too. Luke looks great and he has a lightsaber, blaster, and binoculars. The walker driver also looks awesome and comes with blaster and binoculars. Perfect set to build with my kid. She's not so interested in the AT-AT so I could build that while she built the tauntaun, then we play them together. Improvement opportunity: Increase the AT-AT legs' range of movement, add head movement to the tauntaun.

I bought this StarWars set for my grandson. He loves putting together any Lego set but especially loves StarWars. This set is smaller so it’s just the right size for a 10 to 12 years old.
This little set is awesome. I always give legos to my kids and hubby for Christmas. Everyone needs something to build on Christmas Day. This set was so cute, I gave it to myself with the matching mini millennium falcon.
