The instructions were easy to follow, I however did not add the orange lights, as the wires go through the middle of the track system. I modified my tank so only the orange side is usable. (I like playing with it outside, removing the blue side added much needed ground clearance) I also added the blue LEDs to the underside of the modified cab I built. The only thing I wish was provided would have been some velcro to keep the battery box in place.Thank You game of bricks for the friendly service!

My 9 year old son absolutely loves this!His dad helped him build it.He takes it outside on the grass and loves it.And if it breaks it’s easily fixed - not like his remote control car :)

The bad thing is that the cables can be told to be very tightly bent, which thinks there might be a hole, but I know that the cables are very strong because it would not say to do it otherwise. The thing that helps it flip over at the back can sometimes get broken if you try and press down on it, but I don't understand why it doesn't break if the same thing happened to it on the floor. (strangley.) :)

Bought a few weeks back and honestly one of the best bits of lego I have built. The fact you can control the car as well on your phone without fuss is great. You can drive up walls and the car will flip and still drive. All the activity is picked up on your phone as well

My son built this Lego pretty easy he likes it but every time it flips over it breaks apart and he lost the little rubber-band that goes with it we couldn’t find it anywhere. It also doesn’t go very fast at all. He said that he wishes they would have used different legos to hold it together
I am a big fan of functional lego sets. Since this was one of the cheapest control plus sets, I decided to give it a try, and it did not disappoint. The building process was enjoyable and loads of fun afterwards.The price was not cheap, especially with recent price increases across many of the lego products. However, Mastermind toys had a good sale going on, making the deal that much better. I will keep going back to them for this reason.
It great and there are pro and con:Pro: Easy build and excellent Legos for any that loves tread type vehicles.Con: Not very many rubbers stopper and they only gives you enough to line one side of two treads and if you do zig zag pattern, it works. The motor and the speed leave a lot to desire, so if you're expecting it to zip around, don't, as it barely move fast enough that a turtle can catch it. Also, the app for the R/C leaves a lot to desire, as it often doesn't register your touch, so it may end up spinning in a circle.
Good, well made product that offers plenty of challenge for kids. But the control unit drains batteries too quickly so needs rechargeables to avoid being too expensive.
LEGO - Technic App-Controlled car is awesome. My son really enjoys it, being able to control it via his iPad. And the motor that come with this vehicle is even stronger than previous model. If your child really likes Legos and remote cars, then this is the right gift.
