It has a VA panel which isn't as "flashy" or as bright as an OLED or IPS panel, but with the right settings, you can get a clean and clear picture. No HDR either, no speakers (who uses those anyway anymore) but a headphone jack (for HDMI audio through the monitor) is available. To sum it up, it's a great screen for a reasonable pricetag which will please most PC gamers, musicians or anyone else who needs a vast area to work on. I can only recommend this monitor.

I bought this monitor at the end of November and am waiting for the 2nd replacement monitor (It will be the 3rd when it arrives). The first two have had dead pixels - they show up as thin black lines about 1/4 - 1/2 inch long. The first monitor had them near the lower left part of the screen, and the 2nd had it near the bottom right. Quite apparent when you display a white screen like a spreadsheet. The photos are of two different monitors - when you zoom in you will see about 15 dead pixels each. Hopefully I just got the only two bad ones...but I will see when the 3rd arrives. Perhaps this is common for this monitor and other customers just don't know what to look for. If it is the same it will be going back - 3 strikes and you are out.

Good bang for buck for non-professional work.

Even without, the high refresh rate was a huge upgrade over the 60 Hz refresh on my old monitor and there is definitely a noticeable difference smoothness when playing FPS games when panning around / looking left or right quickly. The only other drawback in addition to colours not being as vibrant is the time it takes to pick up the display signal when having two devices plugged into it is a bit slow. I have a laptop plugged in via HDMI and my desktop plugged in via DP and if I turn on the monitor when both machines are on and unplug the HDMI cable forcing the monitor to use the DP cable signal, the monitor seems to want to hang onto the HDMI signal even though it's unplugged and the screen just stays black. It doesn't pick up the DP signal for probably a good 8 - 10 seconds and during this time, the OSD can not be accessed (the OSD can not be accessed if the monitor is or thinks it's not getting a signal). My previous monitor did not have this issue and would pick up the DP signal a couple seconds after the HDMI cable was unplugged so it's kind of annoying, but to prevent this, I simply have to remember to unplug the HDMI cable before turning on the monitor. Thankfully, people not having two devices plugged into the monitor turned on at the same time will not have this issue. If you catch this on sale like I did, the price is good and helps justifies the shortcomings of this monitor and as long as you're not using it for professional photography or professional video editing, I think you will be pretty happy with it.I use this for work and

Good enough to keep, not good enough to recommend.
2 September 2021

I've had this monitor for two weeks right now and I'd say I'm happy enough with it to keep, but not happy enough to recommend it to any of my friends. Setup was easy, OSD was simple to use, and I love the higher resolution 3440x1440 over my old 34" IPS 2560x1080 monitor for productivity. The higher 144Hz refresh rate is nice, but I honestly don't notice much of a difference over 75Hz in gaming (and to be honest, my video card just can't push 3440x1440 @ 144Hz on some of the games I play). I was expecting some colour issues, or backlight bleed, or brightness issues, but I can't say I've been disappointed with any of that so far.Three things I dislike about this monitor include:1) The monitor arrived with 2 dead pixels, which is not enough to get a return as ... MoreI've had this monitor for two weeks right now and I'd say I'm happy enough with it to keep, but not happy enough to recommend it to any of my friends. I was expecting some colour issues, or backlight bleed, or brightness issues, but I can't say I've been disappointed with any of that so far.Three things I dislike about this monitor include:1) The monitor arrived with 2 dead pixels, which is not enough to get a return as Lenovo's dead pixel policy states that only 3 or more dead pixels are considered defective.2) Twice now (in two weeks) the monitor hasn't turned on after going to sleep. Once it turned back on by pressing the power button a few times, and another time it turned back on by disconnecting and reconnecting the DisplayPort cable.3) I ordered the monitor on sale for around twenty percent off, only to find out that a week later, the monitor was the same price from Lenovo's auction vendor store site (not sure if I'm allow to say what it is, even though it's a Lenovo Store), with an additional 20% off. So far, on the website and on the auction site, it states that this monitor is sold out, so I'm a little hesitant about asking for an exchange on this monitor as I don't know if they would be able to get me a replacement in a timely fashion. As an aside, I did have some issues with some funny font colours when running 3440x1440 in Windows with an nVidia video card, because I couldn't select the proper Output Color Format (YCbCr422 was selected at 144Hz, and RGB was only an option with a lower refresh rate). The solution to this was to go into the OSD and change the DisplayPort option from Version 1.4 down to Version 1.2, then back to Version 1.4, and the settings allowed me to make the change to select my Output Color Format. A small hiccup, but easily resolved.

Good value. Not high end.
19 December 2022

Solid monitor for mixed use. Colors seem accurate. I'm getting a fair amount of backlighting variance. Dark background exacerbates the issue. Light seems to bleed a bit for sides and corners. I would not recommend this for high end editing or competitive gaming. That said it has performed as expected for the price range. It is a good value and should not disappoint on sale, avoid only if you are picky or seek high performance.

Great monitor 4 the price, multiple issues aside!
2 February 2023

This monitor is great for gaming and works flawlessy for my setup. All 3 computers running through my KVM get 3440x1440 at 60hz on the HDMI port, and my gaming rig is also connected via the displayport getting the full 144hz on games that can meet or exceed that framerate. Another input would have been nice but not required.Lost 1 start due to having gone through 3 monitors, first one shipped with no power cable, 2nd shipped with no power cable and many dead pixels in the corner. 3rd time was the charm. Keeping the receipt and watching to see if another dead pixel pops up.

Great monitor so far for work purposes

I purchased this monitor for my home office (not really gaming to be more specific). This is not precisely a small monitor, but it works great for me because it allows me to work by setting side-by-side windows that would otherwise be impossible on my 16" laptop. The monitor arrived fairly quick (within 4 days) after I ordered it. However after unpacking and installing it, it was fairly evident -to me- that it had at least a couple of dead pixels that were visible about an inch from the left of the screen (upper and lower corners). Bought this Christmas of 2021. 2.5 years so far, daily driver monitor, very happy with this product.G-Sync works, gets a smooth 144Hz. Occasionally, ill notice a subtle brightness flicker on the screen, but its not common, maybe a dozen times in 2 years and its short lived, I hear this may be a G-Sync/Free-Sync compatibility thing, but I couldn't imagine paying for an UWQHD-Gsync-only monitor! Also, I run this next to an Acer IPS 1440p monitor and I'm impressed with the color quality of the VA, though I only do gaming and engineering/CAD on it, not content creation. I ordered the product, it sat for 2 weeks in its box before Christmas at my parents (yes I bought my own Christmas present lol), when I opened it, the screen was cracked. I was bummed and didn't want to deal with it over the holidays so far from home. First week of January I contacted CS, no hesitation on their end, minimal time of interaction, just got it dealt with. Lenovo CS didn't tell me it was my fault, or to go seek compensation from the courier (where I presume it got damaged), like other vendor horror stories I've heard, they sent me a pre-paid shipping label and said to send it back. They immediately sent me a new unit when they received the defective one. I couldn't be more impressed! (5/5) stars for making a bad situation so much less stressful for the customer.Great job Lenovo CS,- A happy customer

I wanted a 1440 monitor to enhance my gaming experience and general computer use. I'd used a 27 inch flat screen for a few years but decided to treat myself. I now wonder why i hadn't bought one sooner. It's a great monitor and does exactly what I wanted from it. It takes a bit of getting used too at first but I love it. A couple of point and click adventure games I've played don't seem to like the screen resolution. Items you need to examine don't highlight when you run the cursor over them, you have to be 3 or 4 inches to the left but you can always put it into 1080p and it then works fine but looks better in 1440p.I'm very pleased with it and it's a great gaming monitor.

Just amazing. Its at a really good price, the quality is extraordinary. Honestly nothing to say that is negative about it. If you can afford it, the quality price is as good as it gets. Keep in mind, depending on the types of games you play you might want to consider something else, so for example games like skyrim, eso... it would work, but games like dying light, dark souls, elden ring... who do no support it gets annoying as not all the screen is used and can be an eyesore (unless you mod, but again online games ban modding sometimes). So for gaming just make sure of the games you play.
