Worked great until the plug which inserts into the auto outlet unraveled and fell apart and can not be put back together. I bought this for charging my lenovo laptop when I go north and off the grid. I used it about 45 - 50 times.Would you expect your home charger to break after 50 days of use?

It isn't a fast charger, but it's not meant to be, since it's only 65W. It's a great accessory to have in the car. The connector is sturdy, and the power inverter (the box part) is quite small and light. This charger is perfect for travel and road trips. I haven't tested it with gaming, but I don't expect it to keep up. Most games draw more than 100W between the CPU and GPU, so a 65W inverter isn't enough.

Must have accessory if you drive a lot for work! I'm usually working out of my vehicle. This is a life saver and helps me continue writing my damage estimates on site without worrying about battery life.

Got this charging cable to use in my motorhome to charge my computer off the house battery and can use it on the coach battery when on the road. No inverter needed. It also quickly charges my Pixel 6 phone.
Poor Charging ability, it appears that the "charge rate" is not as good as with the "equivalent mains charger" that is also 65W.SO since its powered by the car Battery/Car Alternator (work truck - big diesel - has TWIN Alternators and can supply enough capacity to run a full house if needed!!Thus the"input" power is not the issue here, then only thing left is the "CHARGER ITSELF">We also have a similar charger (non-Lenovo unit) that works at charging our NEW X1 THINK PAD gen 6 Machines. We only going by what time it takes from " battery low alarm" to FULLY CHARGE STATE.... to compare units.
I needed something that was compatible with my Lenovo laptop. Verified that it was compatible and made the purchase. I am on the road 8hrs or more and need something to maintain my laptop charged.
This this the perfect accessory for on the go laptops and tablets with USB-C power ports. I've noticed it doesn't really charge while the laptop is being heavily used but it keeps it from decreasing in battery power. However when the laptop is off it seems to charge fine but is a little slower than the AC adapter. Still if you do lots of work from your car or truck this is a must and performs flawlessly!
This product worked great for 3 months and quit working - I spent over an hour on the phone and over an hour on chat to try to get a replacement/repair (said it can only be replaced for 30 days). I have had several Lenovo ThinkPad's and love the laptops and service contract for the laptops has been outstanding. For some reason after 30 days there is no way to get a replacement if the accessory product goes bad. Wanted to love this product also (and did for 3 months) but very disappointed in service.
I bought this as a replacement (or maybe an alternative) for the previous Lenovo travel adapter that could be used with a variety of tips. As the USB C port becomes the standard for laptops, it's no longer necessary to carry this around. I am looking forward to this much lighter adapter to power my laptop, which happens not to be Lenovo.
I bought this hoping it'd work with my Xiaomi Pro (2017 USB-C model, for future readers' reference). Whilst it was more than I wanted to spend, there was nothing cheaper I could find that had the required specs and I could find nothing online about this units compatibility, so I took a punt. The unit itself is well made and quite compact. The cables are sufficiently long and feel like they'll last. In terms of charging, it's so far worked perfectly with the Xiaomi Pro. So, even though it was more than I wanted to spend, I feel it was actually a good price now I've seen how well made it is. Would buy again - though, obviously, I hope I won't need to :-)
