I have only owned HP and Dell computers, so when I got the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 I had no idea what to expect in terms of performance. At first this laptop acted weird and slow at times for about the first week. Thankfully, it stopped all the weirdness and has been working perfectly since. I'm happy with speed and performance so far. I'm not sure how much space is on this particular computer so I can't comment on that, but everything else is great. So glad I finally have another touch screen computer! The battery is wonderful. It charges super fast and lasts quite a long time. But once it gives you the warning that your battery is at 8%, you have about 15 to 25 seconds before it dies, and that's the only battery warning you get. Love the machine but hated the interface. Nope I will stick with a machine that allows me to work without tying my hands behind my back.

It's a nice little chromebook for $130. I was a little worried why Lenovo slashed the price from $300 to $130. A few times my screen has gone black for no reason, and I am wondering if that was the reason for the significant price reduction. I bought this chromebook to replace an aging Lenovo yoga chromebook that was no longer being updated. I like the sleek look of this chromebook, but would prefer the hard black clamshell of the older chromebooks used in the school setting. Those chromebooks were built to last regardless of what you did to them. These are great tools for just surfing the web, reading the news or social media. My thoughts of chromebooks were they were slow, limited capabilities and just barely a computer. Boy, Was I wrong, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. I have discovered it’s limitations such as if you do need to use the online version of Microsoft Word, excel and power point since this is an ARM based processor. The reason I bought this is to learn a new OS, I have had Mac’s and windows based computers.I also purchased this particular model is the touch screen. I have thrown games, programs and games…PUBG mobile and it does not slow down. I was worried about printing to a 2 year old HP printer. Set up was a breeze, it literally took me 15 seconds wirelessly.Again I am pleased with the quality of the Lenovo flex 3, the speedy Mediatek processor this is my first ...Ā MoreMy thoughts of chromebooks were they were slow, limited capabilities and just barely a computer. I hadn’t used Chromebooks before - and for whatever reason, I expected something rather clunky and cheap - slow and very limited in what it could do.Having used my delightful Lenovo Flex 3 for awhile, it’s clear to me I could not have been more wrong having that expectation. It’s solidly built, speedy fast to boot up, and loads every app from the Play Store that I’ve thrown at it.Apps load in a snap and run smooth as can be. I haven’t noticed any sluggishness when I’m multitasking and running numerous programs at the same time. Given this has ā€˜low-end’ specs and still performs as admirably as it does, I understand the appeal.I sometimes use a usb mouse which works just fine, but navigating and working with the touchpad (which works well) isn’t bad. ChromeOS includes an easy to pull up listing of keyboard and touchpad shortcuts which help get you around the device quickly once you learn and start using them.I was happily surprised and impressed how easy it was to connect this to my network of Win10 PC’s and work with those files.Oh yeah, the battery life is awesome! I run out of things to do before I run out of juice :)In sum - this is a fantastic, fun-to-use, great performer and well worth the price. I don’t regret my purchase one bit. Sorry I held off as long as I did!

Looks and feels like its more than $100! The keyboard actually feels great! it reminds me of my macbook air that I purchase last year! Its feels premium versus all the other tablets, chrome-books, or affordable computers in its range! it does not have a back-light but that doesn't concern me one bit! Its very spacious to type and have no issues hitting all keys and it typing properly! I actually bought another computer in the $100 range and the keyboard was horrible so to have bought this for $100 .. JUST WOW!I will say there are drawbacks as far as being able to add simple apps to this device that maybe I could have added on a tablet but to be honest for only $100 it doesn't really bother me. It took me forever to figure out how to add the Microsoft app which was my main concern and I figured out how to do that, THANKFULLY!Overall, the build is great, doesn't feel cheap and doesn't feel like I spent $100 I honestly would have thought this device would have at least cost 250 or more! The Chrome OS Processor is pretty fast for its range so I have no major complaints. I can't find a few apps but I can access them on the web! So no big drawbacks back for me.The screen is decent and for it to be 11.6 it actually feels like the screen is bigger than I thought and when I watched a movie last night it actually was pretty vivid! I actually enjoyed the feature of folding the computer/chromebook and touching the screen to stop or check messages on social media! The speakers are actually pretty loud which surprised me!So, if you are looking for something affordable so you can browse the web, do some shopping, pay bills, watch tv or a device to give to your kids for school this is a great option just for 100.00!

OMG! This little unit is awesome , built solid and feels great in hands, not your typical flimsy netbook that fells cheap. Great battery life and easy to setup. I knew/know nothing about Chrome books and had never used one before. But I wanted something that would be light weight and very portable as I travel for work frequently.Biggest obstacle I had is that it’s not a windows based OS, so the apps are going to be different, it doesn’t run MS Office apps but so far Google Docs and Sheets appear to be working as an alternative.I’m still learning about the specific differences but it’s been fun so far. Got the unit on sale for a great price and looking forward to taking the unit with me on my first assignment in the field , my primary laptop cost me over $1200 USD and the fact that the cost $$$ in comparison of this unit was considerably less. I still have a lot to learn as I transition, and perhaps I’ll append this review in the future once I’ve had more time with this unit.Last note , there’s a ton of common applications for music, movies, digital entertainment, etc. My specific needs are focused more on the business side (reports, documents, spread sheets, andE-Mail. )The only ā€œCONā€ is that there’s only 40GB of available space of the 64GB, even with the only negative aspect I’ve crossed so far, it’s easily addressed by adding additional storage space using a flash drive. I personally would recommend the SanDisk Ultra Fit Flash drives , 64GB/$11.99,128GB/$17.99 and a 256GB/$32.99 when there in sale at Best Buy. The flash drives are very small in size but what I love about them is that they’re incredibly reliable.I hope my feedback helps othersJohn

I bought one of these for my son for his birthday, he is a programmer, computer nerd. He absolutely loved it so I bought another one for myself. I love the flip option that allows it to be used as a tablet. I have access to all my Playstore apps, it has a nice bright responsive touch screen that can be viewed from angles. The track pad is large and responsive and a mouse can easily be added via USB connection. I bought a case and I can use it as a mousepad, along with the textured paper that it came with. I am not much of a gamer (except for Words with Friends) so I don't need whatever you need to play games. I love the color (blue) and I loved the price (under $200). No regrets, I would totally recommend this to someone with similar needs.

At first I was excited to have a new Chromebook to play with and add to my work mix. However, while this Chromebook is efficient and does the job, there are quite a few bugs that I'm just not happy with. The biggest pet peeve i have is the fact that every time I switch the Chromebook from computer to tablet view the keyboard defaults to the Lenovo built-in on screen keyboard even though I have Gboard installed and have many times over selected it as the default in settings. That said, every single time it's still pops up with the Lenovo board and I have to go in and switch it over.As if that wouldn't be annoying enough in doing so, it acts as if it's never been used before and I have to completely reset my original settings on the Gboard itself. I've tried everything I can and nothing seems to help this issue. Remember of the Lenovo online business community and I've even asked the question there. Others are having the same issue and there seems to be no solution to it.It's overall performance is okay but I would say subpar to my main Chromebook I use for both work and personal, that being the Acer 315 released in 2021.This was my first time owning a Lenovo product in the way of a computer or tablet. Before I purchase this, I was actually in the market to purchase a Lenovo tablet. But I will say that after buying this Chromebook I don't feel like I will be purchasing Lenovo products in the near future.
