First of all, it is of good value if you can get it on sales. It is a fully sized keyboard with red switch. The switches are likely made by Kailh or Outemu. It does not matter at all. The feel, travel actuation force are "almost" identical to Cherry MX Red. I know it because I have a keyboard with Cherry MX Red at home. You can hardly tell the differences. RGB can be programmed with a downloadable Lenovo software. The palm rest is a plus. It is built solidly. It still does not feel as "unbreakable" as other much more expensive mechanical keyboards though. In conclusion, this is a good buy if you are looking for a mechanical keyboard with Red switch. It costs possibly less than half of what a Corsair would

This was bought with a tower I ordered, and it wasn't quite what I was expecting but still works great. The keys are mechanical and don't click, but have a sort of clack that is smooth and satisfying. I use it for gaming and the shape and size is perfect. Very similar to a razer huntsman. Now the downside. The software for customizing the lights is not what it could be. You can't do all that much. Choose from select patterns. And if you choose the per key customization you can only have one color on the entire keyboard. But does function well, and braided cable is a nice touch.

Great overall.Pros:- the keys feel very solid- some RGB light customization- good features- wrist restCons:- the wrist rest is plastic -- I would have liked to have just a little bit of cushioning like some logitech keyboards

As far as typing it is pretty good at that, and comfortable, although the keystrokes are slightly longer than I would prefer. This keyboard has several cons though-Very heavy, although feels very sturdy at least.-RGB Lighting is very dim-The software to customize the keybaord compared to logitech or Razer is very barebones-I have a Legion laptop and there is no way to sync the Keyboard and Laptop lighting. How is that not a thing? Come on lenovo, one of the reasons I specifically bought this keyboard was in hopes of sinking the RGB lights.Overall my first Lenovo product ive been disappointed with For a keybaord that goes on sale for as low as 60$ shouldn't expect to much I guess.
NOT worth it the cost. The led lights are failing on some of the keys. Some do not light up at all. I have had this keyboard just over a year. Manufacturer Warranty is for one year.I bought the K500 keyboard when I bought my Legion laptop in 03/2023. I only use the keyboard with the laptop when at my work station.
Beautifully designed and the weight is about right, not too heavy nor too light. my personal taste is that I prefer back light keyboard individually. This keyboard has light around each keyboard. The light not on the numbers on the top keys. ie, 1 2 3 4 etc and not on [ ] ;' , . / (each lower mark on the keys) . But this is my personal preference.
I thought it was broken at first because the Windows logo key wouldn't work. After extensive troubleshooting I found I needed to install Lenovo's gaming center software in order to reactivate the Windows key. Extremely annoying for something that should work straight out of the box and shouldn't require additional downloads. The red switches don't feel nice. The keyboard feels mushy and I'm constantly hitting other keys accidentally. Also if I try to spam a button 10 times, it seems to only recognize 9/10 presses. The multimedia keys don't light up and it makes them look out of place compared to the rest of the keyboard.Overall I'm pretty disappointed and wondering if I should have gone for a brown switch keyboard instead or just something else.
Keys feel nice and weighty. The color changing settings are cool. I haven't figured out how to quickly change between profiles but it's not the end of the world. The main reason I took a star off was because the wrist rest is just textured hard plastic. I wish they just covered it in some foam-backed fabric or vinyl.
Excellent ergonomics and awesome visuals. The feel of the keys is definitely more sensitive than your typical keyboard; however, after adjusting to the feel, it becomes much easier to type and the fingers move in a more fluid way. Less impact and noise. Sounds like cinema soundeffects for keyboard typing. Very quiet. Well worth the price.
I've been using this keyboard now for about a week and it's been pretty good so far. I went from an older Logitech Corded Wave to this and it's nice to come back to a mechanical keyboard feel. I do sort of wish it did have a bit of the ergo curve to it, but I knew what I was getting into with this one. I rarely use the lighting features of this keyboard, but so far they seem to work fairly well and the software is easy to use. The media keys are nice, but I do sort of wish there was an extra customizable key for something like the calculator like on my old keyboard, but that's a minor inconvenience.
