Arrived well packaged, one small ding in the outer box, no damage to the contents. Having read a few reviews it was probably the best compromise between budget/performance for my uses. 1st impressions are good, feels a solid build, good overall finish. Clear screen, good colour rendition, initial setup was prolonged & tedious, be prepared for many updates! Battery (as per the reviews) lasts about 3-4hrs of general use, anything more intensive would drain it much faster obviously. Performance is quick, well, anything is quick compared to my 10 year old HP! The mouse pad is ok, takes a bit of getting used to but overall works well. As with so many things it depends what you are using it to do, its all very subjective. For me this laptop works well, it does everything I want it to do quickly. Keeps my knees warm too, added bonus in the winter months!

Bought with little research

I figured this laptop was a deal at $300 off. Little did I know most games don't work with Windows 11. Cod4 Modern Warfare wouldn't run properly, nor would the newer NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered. I will buy Baldur's gate three soon and it apparently runs fine on Windows 11. But just know many games not designed for windows 11 don't run properly at all.

Great gaming laptop for a reasonable price!

I bought it two weeks ago for my son and he is very happy with it. All the games he has are loading and playing smoothly without any lags, sound is also good. The only downsides are loud fan and poor battery life. Overall, for that price I couldn't buy anything better.

This was bought to replace an old (10 years) laptop. Battery life is a bit short but, for me, it will rarely be used in that mode. Screen is bright, good definition, good colour rendition. Feels a solid build, good overall finish. Initial setup was tedious, you have to have a Microsoft account or create one to get past a certain point. Lots of updates, drivers etc etc. Overall I'm happy, it does what I want it to do & quite quickly.

This laptop is an entry level gaming laptop. It looks like a normal laptop except for the shelf behind the hinge of the screen. It is solidly made and is on the heavy side for a laptop of this size and thickness. It is a 1080p screen with 144 hertz. This is an all-intel laptop with an intel processor and an intel ARC dGPU graphics. Boots up extremely fast, gets to the login screen in just a few seconds. You can disable fast boot if you want an easier time of getting to the BIOS. The back comes off fairly normally, there is room to put in a second NVME SSD for more onboard storage. The RAM it comes with is 12GB which is unusual, and a bit low for any gaming laptop. The difference between this and most gaming laptops is that this laptop will NOT use the dGPU unless you specifically tell it to for each and every game. You have to go into Settings, Graphics and choose Desktop App or Windows Store App selection, then find your game/application on the list and tell it which to use, built in graphics or the dedicated graphics. This works but would be confusing for basic computer users, who would need to rely on the prompts to do so by the Intel software. I could not get the Intel Arc Control software to find my games with a scan, so adding by Windows 11 menu Graphics was the only way to force the use of the graphics card. I would recommend this for an all around laptop, battery is good for unplugged general computer use. Gaming on battery will be around an hour or so depending on the intensity of the resources used by the game. As an entry level gaming laptop, it works, runs older AAA games fine, like Fallout 4, etc. Will not be able to meet the minimum requirements of many of the newer 2023/2024 release big games.

Very good laptop the sales team was unbelievably helpful to the point that i almost thought i was buying a top of the line legion laptop instead of mid range Loq.Now to the laptopThrow any task at it, and it'll handle it like it's nothing. MUX switch is their if you want to boost the clockspeed of your cpu or gpu. I've played Ghost of Tsuhima in it max setting in Balance mode (Default mode in which the laptop comes, we can either under clock it, queit mode, or over clock it , performance mode, got no lag no stutter nothing.Best laptop to purchase if want max performance in low budget from reputated brand

[Rewarded Review] Very responsive and very fast laptop

I bought this laptop as a desktop replacement (RTX3060) at first I thought that it will perform so much worse since it is only a 3050 but it has handled my use so well. Build quality is nice and so much better than the HP victus. The keyboard and trackpad are also so much better than laptops within the same price range. One flaw is temps, the reason is that the fan sucks air underneath and the foot pads are short making the ventilation not so good. The fan is adequate but the clearance is not well designed. What I did was just use a laptop stand until my adhesive laptop feet arrives. Otherwise this is a pretty powerful and cheap laptop with a nice screen.
