The port itself never fit the cables snuggly and after time the port stopped working. Unfortunately, the type C port on this tablet is the same, whereby the type C cable doesn't feel like it fits in the port securely. When the cable is attached, it seems like the weight of the cable puts a bit of torque on the port. I'm fearful that the same thing will happen to this tablet as my last tablet. I plan to buy a type C usb cable that the cord comes off on a 90 degree angle to reduce that torque. The pen works fine, but I've never found a tutorial on using it. It's not in the very small instruction booklet and I can't find it on my tablet. I think that such an important feature should have better representation and if there is a proper tutorial somewhere, it should stand out better considering I've looked and not found one.

I paid about 211$ for this 64gig p11 gen 2 with pen included.I must say i'm probably going to be returning it, even at basically $100 off and a free pen I don't see how I could even use it in its current state. It suffers from terrible stutter and lag at almost every moment in use. scrolling through Twitter/web pages/even the built-in menus feel like an absolute chore to navigate. changing from 60hz or 120hz doesn't stop the stuttering and lag although it does stop the screen from looking like a smeared smudged mess like it does in 60hz mode. It also suffers from horrible pixel density, 1200p should be limited to 10-in screens or smaller the pixel density of this makes everything look blurry with jagged hard edges. I don’t see this tablet having a long life and expect it to get slower over the course of the next year or so. Also, there seems to be a bit of lag, at times, from the moment you touch the screen to the moment the tablet actually reacts. This can get a bit annoying when you are trying to get things done quickly. If the price point was lower I could recommend this tablet. But since it’s approaching the $300 mark, I would suggest looking at other tablets in that higher price range.
Got this open box for an amazing deal which shocked me so I might be a little biased. I needed a tablet after my Nvidia one blew up on me literally, especially for work as I do a lot of spreadsheets for financial work and really wanted something I could carry around with me to look at a document or spreadsheet. My Samsung Note screen was simply too small. This tablet with its generous screen fulfilled that need and more. While not the greatest pixel density, the screen quality still shocked me as media on it just looks very nice. If you are expecting more from a tablet, then maybe go look for something 2-4x the price of this but for something under 200 dollars, this was fantastic.

Eventually you will get there, but a clear and comprehensive manual for use would be helpful. Much of Lenovo's input in this regard seems to be to upsell the pricey accessories for this model. I am sure many users will appreciate the added functionality these accessories will provide, (such as keyboard case, stylus pen, screen protector, etc.), but I assure you they are not necessary to fully enjoy this tablet. If you find that some of these accessories are necessary for your situation after purchase, as I did with a cushioning case, there are many custom products available for this specific model.Bottom line- I am quite happy with my purchase of the Lenovo Tab P11 2nd Generation Tablet and would definitely recommend it if it suits your needs for a versatile lightweight fully functional media-friendly tablet.
