The provided carrying sleeve (almost like a think felted material) is also really nice, although I've cautioned everyone in the house to put the monitor alongside their laptop if they're carrying it in a bag to ensure the display doesn't get flexed and cracked.

When calibrating the monitor the software (dispcal) detected clipping. Also the mouse was quite laggy. The card is only able to drive a 4k monitor at 30hz (which is OK for me, I don't play games), but the monitor was driven at 60hz. Setting manually the frequency at 30hz solved the clipping and the mouse lag.Overall this monitor is a great buy.

Good monitor
30 December 2022

Great addition to my work from home setup. Pros: light led panel, adjustable height and viewing angle, pass through charging, got use to the touch display where the pen definitely comes in handy for making on screen adjustment, drawing, signatures, nice eco friendly carrying case, and choice of predefined hue adjustments. Con: would have been nice to adjust the intensity of the blue light filtering, the inability to make adjustments to brightness and contrast in the RGB mode. No HDR compatibility. There is some flexibility to get a reasonable setting close to your preference. Still better than its closet competitor. Fix the cons and it will be great.

Great value, display, stand; imperfect hub, holder
30 January 2022

I think this monitor is a good deal (I got in on slight sale) versus equivalent LG or Dell monitors (UHD 32"), and physically much more attractive (professional, and none of that disgusting "Apple-white/silver" that others seem to favor, pretending to be Apple). Picture quality and feature set are good. The stand is pretty slick, with perfect spring mounting so it moves up and down effortlessly. The hub functionality is decent, and would cost maybe $100 more with other leading manufacturers.I am a little disappointed in two things, and unfortunately had to take off one star.1. The USB drives are really 2.0 rather than 3.1, as the listing claims. The USB drives are really 2.0 rather than 3.1, as the listing claims. As seen in Lenovo's response to another complaint in these comments, you are able to achieve 3.0 if you reduce the refresh to 30Hz, and otherwise the usb-c (3.0) doesn't have the bandwith to carry both signals. That was a big disappointment, and means you cannot connect a USB 3.0 drive, for example, to the hub. It's not terrible though, and now I just use it for webcam, mic, kb, mouse, and speakers (yes, I also use a splitter). I think at minimum this shouldve been clarified in the description, and better yet the usb-c shouldve been improved to 3.2 to give it the bandwith for all this.2. The phone holder doesnt fit my phone!!! I have a OnePlus 8 pro that simply doesn't fit. What an oversight, that makes this otherwise slick innovation completely useless for me. Again, what are we coming to, are we assuming everyone only has a tiny iphone??? Bigger phones are much better, and they're only going to get bigger from here. There was no reason to make the phone holder limited in length, it should go across the entire base instead of just 60%. If you have to think of it this way, give me an "ipad holder" instead . And BTW, I thought of this ahead of time and searched hard for the holder size, but couldn't find it anywhere. Another mark against the marketing materials.

Information regarding the 3-year warranty
22 April 2023

After 2.5 years of daily usage, vertical lines appeared on my M14, which is still under the standard 3 year warranty. I reached out to Support for a repair request. I was told that damage isn't covered under the terms, which I understand. However, I was surprised to find out that Lenovo does not offer repairs even at the owner's expense. The lesson learned for me here is that the warranty means very little as the product is not meant to be repaired. If you have accidental coverage, Lenovo would likely just replace it. M14t a great option for improving productivity
7 February 2023

The M14t is an upgrade from the M14 in that it is touch-sensitive; the potential downside for office applications is that it contains a glossy screen versus a matte one, which means glare from every light source. That said, it is plenty bright for in-office use, matching my E14 laptop, and though only 1080p, is plenty sharp for a screen this size. Connectivity is pretty good, with USB-C connection that allows for power pass-through to a laptop that, like the E14, only has a single USB-C connector reserved for the power block. The built-in stand is great, and adjustable, though this only works in the landscape position. I do a lot of document review, so I like to be able to orient it in portrait mode. The built-in stand is great, and adjustable, though this only works in the landscape position. I do a lot of document review, so I like to be able to orient it in portrait mode. This is possible, but it requires either an elevated stand, or some kind of stand that allows various degrees of tilt and possibly a 90 degree USB-C adapter. It can stand on its own vertically, but is easy to topple and sits straight up and down which I would not recommend (I would have given it 4.5 stars if possible and deduct half star for lack of rotatability). Finally, the touch screen aspect is really great for document review, but for some reasons when I put my laptop on extended screen (multiple screen) with another monitor, when I touch the panel it affects my external monitor not the panel itself. It may have something to do with assignment of the screens as "primary". Just discovered it yesterday so have yet to work it out but probably not a quirk that is unfixable.

Outstanding Mobile Monitor

In my quest to get away from my desk while I work from home I found this mobile monitor. Ideal for use in different areas of my house that may be more comfortable. The picture quality is amazing and the sharpness is excellent. I love the pass through power feature and the slim and lightweight design. I will say the hinge mechanism is very stiff, so you kind of have to position the screen in such a way that you can pull it open while putting pressure on the screen. A bit of a trick but easy once you get used to it.The included sleeve to help carry the device and keep it safe is a nice added feature. Perfect companion to a 14" convertible
3 February 2023

I was looking for a portable monitor to complement my Yoga 9i 14 ITL. The M14 fits the bill perfectly. The panel size perfectly matches that of my Yoga, and while the brightness is lower on paper specs, it is perfectly sufficient for an indoor home office environment, especially with its matt finish. Ergonomics are great - the hinge is tight, the base is stable, and having USB-C ports on either side provides for versatile connection options. I've had the M14 to the left, right, above, and below my Yoga screen. It's actually the Yoga having both its port on one side that gets in the way, but I managed to work around that with some creative cable management.Overall, the product performs as advertised, and I am perfectly happy with it.

Doesn't need a design change, it's just you have to be careful to avoid damage.
