I’ve seen this often compared with a lot of fragrances but for me Le Lion has the vibes of 1740 Marquis de Sade by HdP but not so pungent and in your face like 1740,anyone else or just me?🤔 Performance it’s stellar,haven’t experience something more potent before,exclusively for cold weather. This surpassed very quickly Coromandel which was my all time favourite from Les Exclusifs line. Polge wanted to create a modern Chpyre that didn’t rely on oakmoss but instead used dusty sweet, spicy, woodsy notes. I think that may be going in here. Polge already had an impressive list of great perfumes on his repertoire, Dior Homme being one of them , before he joined Chanel. Olivier succeeded his father , Chanel is safe for the time to come!

Love this new fragrance by Chanel! It reminds me a little bit of Shalimar but it has more edge to it which I love. Highly recommended. I can wear this day or night and it is subtle enough to not overpower a room. I can't stop smelling it on my wrists when I wear this.

One of the best from the Les Exclusif collection. Warm ambery with bright citrusy bergamot at first spray that is perfectly cozy for a cold winter. Parchouli on the dry down added more to the coziness.

I have a Chanel perfume wardrobe, including Coco, Chanel 5, Gabriel, but I would not even describe this as a scent, more of an 'essence experience' with an almost surrealistic quality. The layers of different notes is original and long lasting, as time goes by the complexity of this essence reveals itself to its fullest. Reminiscent of woodsmoke and amber with leather and patchouli notes. Irresistible and powerful and not for the fainthearted.
Really good scent that lasts thru 3 stages
Lovely amber/vanilla, oriental EDP. Comparable with Shalimar, but more modern. Only one spray is needed and it lasts for well over 6 hours on my skin. The first of Les Exclusifs to actually last in my opinion. Two sprays would be overkill in my opinion and there is no need to reapply. Beautiful.
I love L' Heure Bleu and Chanel No 5 but I was haunted by this scent until I bought it. I Like it so much I nearly made the mistake of taking it with me on holiday. Luckily I didn't as I'd forgotten they throw liquids out in customs. Now I wish I could buy the small discrete samples for travelling to carry my purse.Men like it too. My son loves it and it says it's a scent any gender can wear.So far I've been stopped in the street by two men wanting to know what it is so they can buy it for their wives or girlfriends. That hasn't happened to me in years - haha,
Wow! One of the most unusual perfumes I've tried. Absolutely love it and feel really good when im wearing it. Smells quite smoky with undertones of musk, leather and bergamot. If you like Coco Chanel or Coromandel Exclusives , you might be interested in this. The fragrance lingers for days and i often get wafts of it especially if I've sprayed it onto a coat collar! Very original, unusual and so worth it if you are looking for a perfume that not many others know about.
I was so surprised by this fragrance as it doesn't feel like a typical Chanel fragrance. It reminds me quite a bit of the Guerlain classic Shalimar. It's a beautiful scent, a very dry amber and to me smells heavy on the labdanum giving it almost a medicinal quality. Very long wearing.
Wow just love this one. Better than I could have ever imagined. My new favourite and will definitely take some beating!
