The style and color are very nice and quality is good. My main issue is the bad sizing. Based on the Leviās sizing chart I should have gotten a 25 based on waist and hip measurements. I went into the Levi store to try on sizes and even sizing up to a 27 was tight. I ended up getting a size 28 when I am typical 25/26. Additionally the waist was too big and gapped in the back but fit in the hips. When I sit down you can see down my pants. I like everything about the style but the sizing is really frustrating especially when the sizing chart is not accurate.

Barely Freezing (white) is NOT WHITE. It is a natural canvas color. I like the thickness, itās a medium weight. I never buy Leviās (only Madewell), but they changed their fits. Iām a 29 in Madewell, bought both 30 and 31 in this Leviās style. They both fit- the 30 fits well in the waist but very snug in the hips. The 31 is better in the hips (still nice and fitted but not CRAZY TIGHT), but the waist gaps a lot. Iām thinking of keeping the 30, assuming the cotton will give a bit with wear. Only complaint is I wish they had magic pockets!! Where the pocket bag is sewn into the fly.
Super comfy. Tight in the right places - the waist doesnāt cut you in half while sitting, but the snugness in the hips and booty keep them from feeling like they are falling down.I usually wear a 31 waist, but am finding these a bit loose. I wore them out for about two hours and find that they are bagging out a little. Hoping they shrink a tiny bit with washing. But also might just be a habit I need to break from years of wearing tighter styles. Iām 5ā6ā and they are a wee bit too long with low top Chucks on.
The wash and length are great. I originally ordered a 26x32 as I have several different styles of Levis in this size that fit great. These however would not fit around my butt/hips area. I finally got the jeans buttoned, but my butt was squished in and flattened. I exchanged them for a 28x32 and got the waist tailored to fit. I do admit that I have a clunker, but would reccomend anyone with a more rounded bum to size up and get the waist adjusted to you.
Fit in hips/waist is not at all the same as the ribcage ankle. I ordered my usual size and yes I realize these are 100% cotton whereas the straight ankle fit have 1% elastane. However these were sooo tight across my hips I could just barely get them up/zipped but when I did the waist gap was HUGE. So I don't even think I can size up in these unless I want to wear a belt. Maybe they would stretch a bit because they're 100% cotton, but the hips to ratio proportion was just so off I'm not going to chance it. I also thought these were just a bit too wide leg for my liking. In summary, I thought the fit of these was terrible and will be returning. If your hips and waist are the same, maybe these will work for you?
I have never considered myself to be a curvy girl. Im 5ft 8 inch and 135lbs and I always considered my weight to be pretty evenly distributed but I guess not. Because I had to re-order a size up just to get the jeans over my thighs and hips. But now the size up is too big around my waist. I can fit two fists between the waist band of the jeans and my waist. I used to have a baggy pair of jeans that I loved but I lost weight and they don't fit anymore. The seller no longer makes those jeans so I was really hoping this Levi's pair would be able to replace them. Other than the large waist band they're really cute. Sad they didn't work out. Anyways for those of you who carry even just a little more weight in the lower half of your body then these jeans are not made for you.

Love these jeans. Tried on in 25 and they were flattering with a nice fit but I would not be able to sit comfortably and they were incredibly high waisted and had no give. I ended up returning but while in the store I tried them on in a larger size and wow! I could wear them lower on the waist and the wide leg was perfect. The wash āsplash zoneā was also a much lighter fabric than āfar and wideā and these will be spring jeans so I bought those and bleached them lighter. I also had to hem them so one star off for all the extra work.
