Performance:Auto & 1 fan noise is unnoticeable, starts noticeable from 2 onwards and 5th is almost unbearable. Auto, 1 and 2 suction is not that strong. The dust needs to be almost 2-3in close to the unit to be sucked in. At 5th speed dusts around 1 foot or nearer to the unit gets sucked into the filter unit.Portability:Not heavy and easily carry from 1 place to anotherPerformance in terms of suction and output is up to expectations and maybe better than many other brands of the same range. Filtration remains to be tested. Seller response is very prompt, helpful & friendly. Packing is very well protected. Delivery could be improved as it took 5 working days to be delivered within same country.

COVID-safer indoor spaces & great for smoky days!

We bought this for COVID-safer indoor spaces, plus it was very handy during the smoky days (in NY) from the Canadian fires. It kept our indoor space breathable without masks during the smoke, and there were noticeable differences in other rooms without the purifier. The AQI reading on top is nice.My only "complaint" is there's no purifier at this size WITHOUT phone connectivity. Thankfully, the purifier can be used without the app/bluetooth/wifi/smart features. I'm not sure how much of the cost is the purifier vs the smart capabilities, but if the "smart" features are more than $30, I'd like the option to purchase without it.

Good air purifier with annoying motor noise

While it cleans the air OK, the motor noise (not to confuse with air/fan noise) is VERY annoying. In night mode, the high pitch motor noise is louder than the air noise, making it impossible to sleep with - even if it's in the living room. At speed 1 is ok, but at speed 2 it's just awful. You can find videos about it on youtube, even I added one with a brand new unboxed 600S already whining. It's useless in sleep mode or auto mode, since it is very noticeable. Turning it off after cooking seems to be the only solution, but why buy SMART purifier if you just turn it off after cooking? Quality control seems to be slipping as there are quite a few reviews about this issue.

Great air purifier

This is a great air purifier and I am very happy with the purchase! I did a lot of research in looking for the top purifiers out there and this one kept standing out. I also like that it does not use an ionizer like Blueair does so I do not have to worry about any ozone being produced. Some of the reviews complained about the core 600s being loud or making an irritating noise and I have not had this issue at all. On the lowest setting it is super quiet and even on the higher settings it is just like a relaxing white noise/ fan noise to me. Highly recommend!

Impressive Air Purifier!

The levoit 600S air purifier is really good. We’ve been using it for about a month now. My son has allergies and I don’t hear him cough anymore because the dust in the house was reduced. I am a mom of three so less dust wiping is a big help for me. It freshens the air in our living room attached to our kitchen. Sometimes when we are cooking the light will turn red and we would know that it detected something and the air quality is not good then the phone will send us a report about the air quality. Quieter and more powerful than previous units!

I have used several Levoit purifiers and I really like this new model. It is quieter and more powerful than other similar sized Levoit purifiers and I love that this has a timer option. I wish the schedule could be set without hooking up the unit to wifi but I love that it has a schedule option. I like that the air intake is on all 4 sides instead of 2 like other units. I wish there was a grate that could be pulled off to make cleaning the filter easier (like the LVH-133 model) instead of having to remove the entire top of the unit and removing the filter to see if it needs to be cleaned/vacuumed. Overall a great unit and I would buy again!

Very Powerful Air Purifier - with a Problem

The Core 600s does a great job of cleaning the air of my large apartment but I am having a bit of an issue with the noise the unit is producing. This product is producing a very unpleasant whining howl I would akin to the high pitch sound emitted by a vacuums cleaner, but not as loud in volume.The noise is most pronounced at fan speed 3 but still slightly present at fan speed 2. It is not produced at fan speeds 1 and 4. Furthermore, if I switch fan speeds in the app (1 directly to 4 and 4 to 1), there are 2 very distinct points the noise returns while the fan spools up and down. Both of which are about where fan levels 2 and 3 live. What a difference!

Quiet. Quality. Efficient. Affordable. Suffered from chronic sinus and ear infections. A friend suggested I get an air purifier. I live in a 200 year old house (converted officer’s quarter from 1812). Lots of dust and old house smells. Needed a small unit specifically for my bedroom. Quick deivery. Easy set up and maintenance. After 2 days significant improvement in air quality. Unfortunately cannot access accompanying app since I only have 5Gnetwork and app runs only on 2G
