Lezyne Micro Floor Drive HVG 90psi Hand Pump Black

This is my second Lezyne Micro High Volume pump which works great on my touring bike at 85lbs and road bike at 105 lbs. It's lightweight and fits nicely on a small frame even with 3 large water bottles . It gets used more by others, stuck with inadequate pumps, than by me but I would never ride without it. I get maybe 2 flats (Schwalbe Marathon Tour Plus) on a cross country tour but the pump design with a foot peg for stability, just right hose length, secure screw on valve, and high volume makes flat repairs so much easier. I hated various hand pumps I used and broke several valve stems using them. My pump is 15 years old and is still pumping strong but I bought this one for cosmetic reasons (black) and piece of mind for my next tour.

Awesome pump

the Lezyne Micro Floor Drive HV pump is awesome. I use it to inflate my ebike tires after changing them for better tires. My big floor pump is at my cottage.I'm in the city right now, so i need a powerful pump to use now. Also, will bring it with me on my long ebike ride at my cottage.

Good for travel. A couple "challenges" but would buy again.

Love the form factor for travel. Purchased when flying with our bikes. The screw-on nature of the valve can be finicky with tubeless valve stems (it can start to unscrew the stem - which could be user error??). A small crack had formed on a plastic part near the valve, which is a bummer after the first week, but in general well made, fills air quickly for its size, and travels nicely.

Good quality high capacity

Longer than some compact pumps, but when you need to use it, you have the quality and capacity. Your can fill the tyre /tube with air with more ease / less effort. Being longer in length I found its best to mount it on the main diagonal down tube under the bottle cage on the LHS to clear the pedal crank. Mounting on the bike means its always there ! Smaller compact pumps you put it your jersey back pocket are great but you can forget them and leave them behind ! It has a connection hose a flip out foot stand keeps it steady with your foot so you can push down and fully stoke the pump. So its somewhat like a mini/micro track pump. The only down side / con is. For road bikes great if you can afford the look and additional weight / grams For mountain bikes this should be the go to norm. Great Pump - bad gauge

Im a really big fan of the pump itself. For a mini pump, it does get up to pressure pretty quick. I generally run ~72psi for road, 40 gravel, 29 MTB. It works good for topping off before heading out and took my MTB from 15 to 30 relatively quick without a lot of fuss. I actually bought this for a travel pump, and expect it will work well at the hotel. The downside is that markings on the gauge are horribly off and hard to read. 70psi measured on my standalone digital gauge is somewhere around 100psi on the pumps gauge. I have wrapped it with small 1mm strips of tape to mark my desired pressures. It seems to be consistent in its measurement, but the markings cannot be trusted. This is why I knocked off two stars. Lezyne Micro High Pressure Pump

Really like this pump. I’ve been taking it with me on my road rides. I did initially get the one with the gauge but the gauge cracked after about a month. Lezyne/ Altitude replaced with out question under warranty. I went with the gaugeless version for my warranty replacement.

Not as refined as I expected/gauge not so good

It's a good pump, but threading the valve fitting is clumsy given it does not spin freely on the tube. It twists the tube and rebounds (lots of friction in the connection). It's good overall despite being frustrating to thread/unthread. The gauge is pretty worthless. Despite the pump being rated for 90psi, the gauge reads to 120psi and there is very little resolution in the 20 to 40 psi range (see pics). In fact, It's not clear where on the red plunger indicates the pressure and the manufacturer provides no clear direction or instructions. Additionally, as the pressure increases the gauge does not smoothly change, rather it jumps. Really disappointed i paid for a useless gauge and now have to haul it around. Optimal balance between light weight and high-volume pump for larger tires

This Floor Drive HV is replacing a Lezyne hand pump. While this is larger, it remains extremely light and fits easily in my Evoke 8L pack. I wanted something that could quickly top off a larger tire on the trail (winter use for Fat Bike and regular 29” MTB for the 3 other seasons). Used a few times, very happy with the results.

Quality, dependable, packable mini-pump that just works

Had several cheaper mini-pumps over the years, and not always the best experience with them. Was on the trail with a flat, and my mini-pump at the time failed. A Good Samaritan stopped by and let me use his Lezyne Micro Drive HV to get up and running. Sold me on getting one for myself. Have had it a couple years and it's been a great pump, especially for the size. Keep it in my Dakine backpack and it fits great. I've let a few riders on the trail borrow it and they've all commented on how much they like it.

Well made solid bike pump.

I bought this to air up my fat bike tires when heading home on paved roads. It's lighter than it looks. Its precision well made. It appears to be made mostly from aluminum so it's unlikely to rust. I tested this out and was pleasantly surprised. On a 27.5" x 4" tire I could get to 20psi from empty with over a minute of pumping. Pumping is made easy with the foot peg and pumping against the ground instead of holding it in your hands. My only complaint is with the chuck. It's very fiddly to remove the chuck from the base in ideal conditions. It would be a considerable challenge in the winter with gloves on or with cold hands. It's probably better to just leave the chuck disconnected from the base. Overall I'm happy with my purchase but minus a star for the fiddly chuck.
