Bought this washer/dryer last week. Has great economy features. However, have been disappointed: 1. Setting up: Sticker on bag containing water hoses etc says connect to 'hot water'; should read 'cold water'. Rubber stoppers for sitting on wooden floors were not provided. Instruction manual directions for cycles descriptions with out visual of actual panel icons. QR code doesn't work at all. 2. Door leaked (minor) on 1st and some subsequent cycles also not hinged to fold horizontal (flat) with front panel which is issue in confined space. Also tinted door means can't see whats going on when running. 3. Have concerns around cycle effectiveness as somethings don't smell or feel completely clean and now I'm seeing sandpit in tumble dryer which suggests things aren't ... MoreBought this washer/dryer last week. We bought the LG WVC9-1410W washer and dryer combo over a year ago with a 10kg and 6 kg capacity, respectively. It is by far the best washer we have owned. It has a great washer capacity, good for small to medium families or couples. The AI wash functionality on some cycles is great at producing a very clean wash. This machine is very high quality and expected from a brand like LG. The wash cycles could be better defined and more intuitive on the input screen and selector. The drying cycles are few and far between and the combo wash dry cycles appear nearly hidden away. The wifi connected App that can be used alongside gives a bit more detail on the cycles (including the combined cycles) but this could also be better implemented. The washing of the clothes is really good in all cycles. The drying of clothes can be a bit hit and miss at times and you need to be careful of over drying the clothes in some settings (unless you like permanent wrinkles!). Overall a great product from LG and I am sure I will get more used to it as time goes on.

Works perfectly, zero issues for us. The water shudder that other people mention in their reviews is definitely a thing though. If you've got fixed copper piping it will definitely make a bit of noise when it sucks in water in short spurts. Not a real issue for us, we just shut the door and you can barely hear it. For some people though I can definitely see how it could reverberate through the whole house. So I guess just consider that and the construction of your house/ how much it might bother you when getting it. Otherwise it's great, just make sure they've got it in stock when you order, the wait time can be really long for these things.
I've been using this machine for a year now, about once a week. I use the drying function mostly in winter. It washes well, dries well. If you're willing to work around it's quirks, it's a good appliance.The 4 water jets do a great job in helping the wash with less water, getting all pieces wet quickly. The 95 degrees temperature is great to wash greasy kitchen towels and others. Spinning is great, everything comes out really well drained.- Some programs are weird, e.g. Cotton takes 2h 45mins to complete (adding "Turbo Clean" reduces it to around 1h with good results). Manual is unhelpful in regard to program durations.- Drying in automatic mode, using the load sensing, always has terrible results for me. If you live in an apartment, your neighbours surely will hear it spinning.
I got this machine because I wanted a washer dryer combo. I always forget to hang my clothes and leave it in the wash for days. I dont have any problems now as they are always clean and dried when the cycle is finished. The wash dry cycle takes 4 and a half hours and the clothes dont really smell like fresh laundry, more like hot steam/little bit of a chemically smell (not a bad smell but to be expected when washing in wet and then dry enclosed area) smell turns to a neural after a while of the clothes being taken out. Overall though, its great!! Perfect for a working mum!

After investigation and speaking with LG we found that in this particular situation the most likely reason is that the door is not correctly installed and it is not aligned. After calling LG Support and the retailer it was decided to get a replacement. With the new replacement machine so far so good, we haven't encountered any problems and hope to use it in the years to come with the same results. For peace of mind we have extended the LG warranty of two years with another four from the retailer making a total of six years warranty. In a way this mitigates any other issues that may arise in the future with the machine but hope it will be good and with no problems. But otherwise we are very happy with the quality of this machine so far considering the limited use we had until now.

I have steamed and steamed and steamed again and it has improved them but they look like they have just come from a crumpled pile on the floor. They are now not wearable for school. Even when we used the wash only cycles clothes came out very crumpled and it has been very hard trying to get the wrinkles out. Again even after a lot of heavy steam and ironing, they still look dishevelled. As for the machine itself, for a machine that is a washer dryer combo, you would think there be more than one setting for that combination, as you need to be able to have more options for that - different heat settings, etc. A huge lack in design and useability on LG's part. It's also quite difficult to see the program selections. The program times are long and the drying time is much much longer than a regular dryer, which we knew about, but this machine was going to magic solution to several of our problems and it actually caused us major issues. Lots of time and physical effort trying to fix and repair all of the clothes that were wrecked. Some now look permanently dishevelled. I am hoping that over time these deep set wrinkles will come out. I've been near to tears for hours and days just trying to deal with damage and repair the clothes. So far nothing is back it normal. Some are now totally unusuable - the school uniforms. We have returned the machine. Fortunately the retailer we purchase from went above and beyond when I told them of the problems and have organised a return and replacement (I chose different brand of course)
