The LG 32GN650-B is a solid performing gaming monitor that offers a lot of features at a very reasonable price. Firstly, its low input lag makes gaming feel responsive, and it has fast response times, resulting in smooth motion with 1ms motion blur reduction capabilities [5ms (GtG at Faster)]. The a 165Hz refresh rate, and variable refresh rate (VRR) support are features that gamers and general users would appreciate. The contrast of this monitor is also great; it uses a VA panel, so it has a great contrast ratio that produces deep blacks, which is ideal for gaming in low lighting conditions. The DisplayPort 1.4 connection in addition to 2 HDMI 2.0a ports offers connectivity to various devices and there's also a headphone port in which the volume can be control ... MoreThe LG 32GN650-B is a solid performing gaming monitor that offers a lot of features at a very reasonable price. The large, 32" screen and high resolution make it perfect for gaming and/or multitasking with plenty of desktop real estate to complete tasks. The colors are vibrant and can be fined tuned to one's preferences thanks to the many settings. Moreover, the settings are easy to navigate thanks to the joystick on the bottom center on the monitor and the settings interface is intuitive and easy to use. The included monitor stand is sturdy and allows the monitor a decent amount of height adjustment, it can also tilt, but please be advised, it does no swivel (or turn side to side). On an up note, the monitor can rotate into portrait mode, but in only one direction. The bezel or borders of the monitor are also quite thin, so they should perform well in a dual or multi-monitor setup without being distracting. The HDR experience is okay, however, it doesn't have as wide as a color gamut as other HDR monitors and it cannot get bright enough to bring out highlights when in HDR mode. Included accessories that are packaged with the LG 32GN650-B 32 Inch UltraGear™ QHD Gaming Monitor with FreeSync™ are a power cord, mouse holder [a plastic piece that clips into the bottom of the monitor on either the left or right side to manage your mouse and/or keyboard cable(s)], and a DisplayPort cable.

The is the best value model amongst all brands in all round. The image color is so natural that basically I didn't do much tuning before use. I really love the cleariness and crispy line of text / character. My eyes are so happy on watching it for long hours without any discomfortable feeling. I am so satisified with the adjustable height that I need it every single day. When I am standing work at my desk I need it to be on high position. When I am sitting down on chair I need it to be on low position. The height adjustment is very easy and can be done by just a simple pushing up / pressing down on the edge of monitor. I bought this from Overclockers since it was out of stock on this site. The colors are good, the G-Sync feature is functional and the image quality is excellent. I prefer smaller monitors to achieve a higher DPI/DPD, but that's mostly subjective. However, for the price, I am disappointed by the stand. Not only does the stand have a very wide and deep footprint, making it unsuitable for short desks, it also is not a very good design. It lacks a tilt function (left/right movement), and only has c. 12 cm vertical motion. In addition, at its lowest elevation, the monitor is still roughly 10-12 cm from the top of the desk. For most people, this may not be an issue, but means that, on my desk, the monitor is too high to be viewed comfortably, the top of the monitor being ... MoreI bought this from Overclockers since it was out of stock on this site. I'm going to buy another stand for the monitor, but other than that, it's pretty good. Also, you may want to invest in a DisplayPort cable when buying, since the one it comes with is pretty short.

The IPS panel has a nice fast picture with good brightness. The back of the stand has some cheap plastic and it's tilt swivel adjustment is much harder to adjust than several other monitors I've used and it gets hotter than my BenQ zowie TN panel but the picture difference is night and day. I've used this monitor with the PS5 for 120fps gameplay with the limited games it supports at the moment but in either 60hz or 120hz the panel performs well for the price which I got it on sale while I continue to shop out 4k144hz monitors or wait for a sale on couple I've been eyeing up, especially with raptor lake CPU and rtx40 series GPU on the way soon for PC. Overall I feel it's a decent monitor. For general use (web, video, work) I think it has good value and picture quality. Contrast is excellent, and no notable backlight bleed in the corners with the VA panel. The downside I ran into with this monitor over the LG IPS variants is this panel had really bad ghosting & motion blur in games. Even when running titles at 165fps, the screen would take on a terrible blur effect while moving or panning (first person, top down, side scrollers). Once you stop moving in a game it's like a sharpening filter is applied and it goes back to being clear. No amount of tweaking the settings was able to completely solve this for me. Turning on ultra low motion blur setting makes the picture too dark, causes terrible overshoot and makes ... MoreOverall I feel it's a decent monitor. Turning on ultra low motion blur setting makes the picture too dark, causes terrible overshoot and makes the picture quality worse. I tested this screen against the LG UltraGear 27" IPS 144hz variant and the Samsung G7 (also a VA panel), and noticed little to no ghosting/blur on those screens by comparison in the same games. It was a night and day difference. Because of that I can't recommend this monitor if you're a serious gamer.
This monitor has great looking colors as expected from an IPS display (not the most accurate but that's not expected at this price) and the 144hz refresh rate looks really smooth. It's a big step up from the 75hz refresh rate my previous monitor had. This monitor can get brighter and darker than the average IPS monitor. This monitor has HDR, but I wouldn't recommend turning it on as it ruins the contrast, especially since IPS monitors don't have the best contrast in general. The included stand is pretty decent. It feels very sturdy and it isn't difficult to adjust, though it would've been nicer if it could go lower and swivel around. One thing that caused me concern initially was the contrast level. It feels very sturdy and it isn't difficult to adjust, though it would've been nicer if it could go lower and swivel around. One thing that caused me concern initially was the contrast level. The blacks looked very bright, more like if they were dark gray, and it made the display look muted. Of course I don't expect TV or VA display levels of contrast from an IPS display, but it looked pretty bad compared to my previous IPS monitor. Both my old and this monitor are rated at the same 1000:1 contrast ratio, and even though there are always variances in the contrast levels between every monitor, it looked especially bad. However, after turning down the Black Stabilizer setting in the OSD (On-Screen Display), the contrast is good now and everything looks more vibrant. One thing that is actually bad about the monitor is the audio jack. It sounds very low quality and tinny using both headphones and speakers. There is also a lot of idle noise when you aren't listening to anything. If it's important for you to connect headphones/speakers to the monitor so you can use them for multiple PC/console/other devices, I don't recommend getting this monitor. For me it was not too important, which is why I only docked a single star. Overall, the monitor is great minus the audio capabilities.
I received this monitor at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion. As someone who not only games and streams multiple hours a night 4-5 times a week, as well as does a major amount of graphic design and creative work, it's important to me to find a monitor that can handle both jobs as well as not become a strain on the eyes. Clarity and sharpness is what I found with this LG monitor. Brilliant, vibrant colors, a wide viewing angle, and the ultra low response time make this perfect for what I do on a day-to-day basis. The downsides, for me, personally, are the 1080p resolution, the flat panel, and the bulky monitor mount and base, which you may find no problem with. If I had the same monitor in 4k or 2k, I would say it was perfect for me. I've also ... MoreI received this monitor at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion. I've also grown accustomed to using curved panels recently, but I even quickly forgot I was using a flat panel after a few hours of use with this LG monitor. And, finally, the monitor is VESA compatible so I could get a wall or desk mount and not have the issue with the stand so YMMV. All in all, I would highly recommend this display to anyone in the market for a new gaming monitor without hesitation.
I was able to pick this up on sale for $199 and so far so great! It's an IPS monitor so the only drawback I have run into is that it has a little bit of "glow" in the corners or edges when viewing dark images in a a dark room. I was concerned at first but it's normal--to a degree--and varies in intensity by panel and I got over it because so far it hasn't been anything egregious. As far as image quality, color, features, connections, etc. this monitor has been great. I use it with my computer, and two gaming consoles with all three connections (2 HDMI, 1 Display Port) and it has been great and easy to switch over from one device to the other. The monitor is height adjustable, tilts, a good size for a small to medium desk sitting at arms length. 1080P 144hz with VRR ... MoreI was able to pick this up on sale for $199 and so far so great! It's a great monitor as long as you get a panel with not too much IPS glow or backlight bleed. LG is a pretty solid brand so I hope it continues to be a great monitor going forward with no issues. Catch it on sale and it's definitely a Best Buy!
I just set up my new monitor yesterday. Here's my setup: - VESA mounted (existing monitor arm) - Gaming PC connected via DP - Work laptop connected via HDMI I use the hardware "Button" to switch between sources, and a 3rd party KVMP switch for my keyboard and mouse. As my old KVMP does not support the full resolution and refresh rate of my new monitor, I have had to bypass it for video. The "Button" at the bottom of the screen is really easy to use, and the monitor's onboard firmware is easy and responsive. The monitor shipped with all the required cables including HDMI and DP cables. I needed to replace my old incompatible HDMI cable, so this was really convenient. Thankfully, the firmware is not loaded with bloatware, like some of LGs competitors like to do. All in all, I am super happy with my purchase, and would recommend it to anyone who uses one monitor for work and personal PCs/laptops.
THE 32GN650-B is a a very bad VA panel. Whilst this monitor is good for gaming, nice and smooth, it should not be used for anything else. I do get flickering though? First of all, the contrast and sharpness are missing compared to other AMVA panels. For example the pb328q is superb compared to this monitor. I have them side by side. AMVA colors and contrast is so superior. This monitor cannot get anywhere close to SRGB, Despite rtings saying it's color accurate. I cannot duplicate this at all. I get nowhere REMOTELY close. I have two other 32" LG monitors here too. There is SOME good news. The 32QN650-B is not a gaming monitor, it only runs 75 hz. It is much more color correct than this VA panel. The 32QN650-B also has acceptable contrast for an IPS monitor. Unfortunately it has some light bleed coming out from the bottom right corner. If you do not mind gaming at 75 hz, you should consider the 32QN650-B. It's affordable and colors are really precise. Then there's the nano 32" IPS monitor, which is extremely smooth for gaming 32GP83B-B.AUS. This monitor is extremely smooth for gaming and has no flicker. The 32GP83B-B.AUS has spot on color accuracy, and the contrast is not bad at all compared to the AMVA panel. The downfall is that the 32GP83B-B.AUS has even more of a light bleed from the bottom right hand corner than the 32QN650-B. So what's the moral of the story here? You either stick to 75 MHz and get superb color accuracy, but if you want 144 MHz or 165 MHz AND have good color accuracy, you will have to accept the light bleed. Since 2013 I have not yet found a 32" monitor that can beat the Asus pb328q in color and contrast. I did want a higher refresh rate but I guess 75 MHz will have to do. For now I will keep the 32QN650-B, despite the light bleed.
