Things I love about it-PLUMMED fridge is the BEST thing ever. no more refilling the jug. -ice maker and the craft ice (round ice balls)-freezer drawers that pull out (you see everything)-UV and filter for your water-*we got it on a promo that came with 6 bottles of wine.Cons-not much really except maybe the price() its a bit on the dear side.-might be small for a family of 4 that buys a lot of groceries. Hot tip -get the extended warranty for peace of mind! The concierge/extended warranty give you x3 $20 voucher every year for the duration of the warranty (it pays for itself!)-always price match. We got lucky and had 20% off (managers discount. Everything totalled 3,2K with 5yr extended warranty).

We are in love with our LG Instaview Door-in-Door fridge. The functionality has been user friendly and faultless. The french doors allow easy access to large dishes and has been handy for catering. The "Extra Space" compartments have come in handy for things like cheese and cold meats. The only hiccup we faced was during installation when connecting the fridge to our plumbing - the pipe connection included with the fridge was too small, although this was fixed by a quick trip to Bunnings. We were pleasantly surprised when we discovered an ice-cube maker within the freezer section that produces round ice-balls - perfect for whisky. When purchasing, we had not realised that the fridge came with that special feature. Money well spent.

We have never purchased an LG fridge previously, so this was a new choice for us. And I am so glad we did. Our old fridge was a french door fridge with water and ice dispenser, so I knew I wanted the same again. We have had this LG fridge for a few months now and so far, I am very happy with the performance and functionality. Very happy with the fridge. It is quiet and performs well. The crushed ice is still a little chunky for my liking. The round novelty ice balls are great, but they make a loud clunk as each is dropped into the tray.The online wi-fi option is really a gimmick. It just tells you the state of the fridge and not even the actual temperature - just if it is in spec. We were told by the salesman it allows you to interrogate the fridge for its contents to enable a shopping list. - it was a lie. It does no such thing. That was not why we bought it, though as it did sound too futuristic. Over all We are very happy with the fridge.
Delivery- My fridge was delivered on time but the delivery crew made no extra effort in making sure it is delivered to our kitchen. As our door is quite tight, they decided to leave it in our garage.Unboxing- I had to hire someone else to move it from our garage to kitchen. Definitely need at least 2 people to unbox. But as soon as it was removed from the box, fridge can be easily moved around the kitchen as it has a roller underneath it. I have moved it myself!Filter / Plumbing Setup- I had to buy a 1/2 outlet connector to be able to connect the provided water tubing to my water outlet. I was able to set this up myself following instructions from the manual and watching some videos from youtube.Ice / Water Dispenser- I was able to dispense water straight away post ... Im being petty here but I need to fold or cut my lemongrass stalks to be able to fit them in the veggie drawer. Cant just chuck them in straight from my grocery bag. Freezer- Space is huge enough for my dozens of ice creams and other frozen goods- I love the ice balls from the ice maker, theyre solid enough and dont melt easily. I was able to keep my drinks cold in an esky on a hot day.- Having 2 door freezers with 3 trays each makes it easy to sort and get stuff unlike if its just one huge freezer drawer.This is a great fridge that is plumbed but at the same time slim enough to fit in our fridge alcove. The black colour looks gorgeous in our kitchen. I have used this fridge for less than a month so I have yet to use all of its features but so far I am very pleased with its functionality.
Great fridge, very pleased with this purchase. Looks great and the capacity is very good especially the freezer. The only thing I would like included would be a meat/cold section in the fridge, i got used to this extra space in my old fridge. The extra space sections are somewhat useful but only to store smaller items such as deli meats or snack foods. I like that you can re-arrange the shelves to each side of the fridge to allow for taller items.

I now have to deal with the service provider who has been advised/authorised to replace a defective part however the service provider tasked with replacing faulty part are adamant that they ... Love the ability to store milk and other drinks in the Insta-view compartment. Thoughtful design with shelf that retracts for tall bottles. The round ice balls are a talking point (note in practice they arent 100% roundhave a small flat edge). You can increase the clarity of the ice by reducing the production rate (not an issue as they store in a tray in the freezer). Takes a bit to get used to no handles - you open by grooves in bottom of doors which seems fairly standard these days. Also the front is not magnetic so all those holiday magnets needs to go on the side or somewhere else in the house p
This fridge is ideal for those that don't want to bend down to access the ordinary section. The temperature can be set so easily. The food inside the fridge is easy to remove and kept cool. The double tap door displays the fridge contents without having to open it. There is also a small, easy to open door which allows access to the milk, soft drinks and small items relieving the need to open the full door. The freezer is large and food is easily available. There is cold water, ice-blocks and crushed ice in the door. (needed plumbing) There is also a large round ice-block maker in the freezer and although this uses up some space there is heaps of space elsewhere for all the food. This fridge is worth the price paid.
