Overall layout is exactly what I required both in shelving/on the door and especially in the Freezer section. Love the Ice Block making section. Just one little oddity which is the Fruit/Vegetable container (on the lower part of Fridge). The fridge door has to be opened to the fullest extent as larger items (ie full Pumpkin/Cabbage) do not fit in the opening provided. The whole container has to be slid/lifted out to place these larger items in. Other than that vent, I love my new fridge.

We are really enjoying our new LG fridge. Very quiet and well laid out. Unfortunately the premium delivery service was a big disappointment, with the original team leaving the fridge outside in the rain for me and my visually impaired wife to unpack and move inside. The delivery was done by a subsidiary of TNT, rather than TGGs. When we unpacked the fridge one of the feet was broken - a $2 part that should have been a $3 part, I guess. So a warranty call to LG, who has outsourced it to another 3rd party. That was a few weeks ago and we are still waiting for a replacement to turn up.

I like this particular fridge. the design and colour looks ecstatic. The space is enough for a family of five to store up to fortnightly grocery stuff. The LED lights are a bonus especially at night, I can still search for the stuff I want. Only one disadvantage is the ice cube tray. It's difficult to twist and turn the ice down onto the tray and the ice always get stuck. each time I have to use a spoon to knock down the ice from the ice cube tray. Also the space allocated for it is in the way for more frozen stuff. Frustrated, I removed it and I bought portable ice cube trays. Other than that. I am happy with my purchase. After two years now, it's still doing its job well. No breakdown.
Great size fridge. Plenty of space for a small family. Clean design. Works as intended. Ice tray cubes are small though, and fridge isn't whisper quiet. Overall, it represents great value and I'm happy with it so far. Fingers crossed it provides us with many years of reliable use.

They couldn't have cared less about blocking the neighbour's access to his driveway, and made him wait, even though there was ample room for them to park their van closer to my driveway.The two delivery workers then not-so-gently lowered my fridge to the road by hand. One worker used a hand trolley which was too small for the large fridge, jolted the fridge into the driveway and backyard, where he stripped the packaging, leaving bits of cardboard and foam behind. He proceeded to walk out of the backyard, right past the old fridge, which had been cleaned, dried, and prepared for removal as part of the 'Premium' delivery service, until I called him back and asked him to take it with him. My new fridge, however, is great. I love the available space inside, the clear shelves, the great lighting in both the fridge and freezer, and it operates relatively quietly. It appears to cool and freeze evenly, exactly as it should, and has been working well so far, despite the truly stunning (not in a good way) delivery process.
We selected this fridge because we needed a specific height and over 125L freezer capacity and there didnt seem to be a lot of options in our price range. When we got it home and plugged it in it was even more perfect than wed realised. Its a nice looking fridge, has a nice setup and heaps of room in the fridge and freezer and so far seems to work amazingly. Weve only had it for a few weeks so interested to see how it goes as time goes on. So far definitely recommend
This unit replaced my 20 year old LG fridge which was working fine but became unsightly due to exterior corrosion as I live very close to the ocean. This fridge is well made, well set out in terms of shelves, extremely quiet and has no unnecessary external lights.I looked at all the comparable brands but LG was still the best on warranty, build quality, design and importantly reputation. Its also made in Indonesia which is fine by me.
Fridge area is well thought out and the movable ice tray in the freezer is a great idea. I can rearrange and organise my freezer as needed and am able to fit larger items in when I need to. The large fruit/ vegetable drawer provides ample storage for these products. The adjustable shelving means I no longer have to put larger items on their side to store. I bought this as a replacement for my 10 year old fridge and find the interior layout is much better.
I have had the LG GT-515WDC fridge freezer for maybe 1 year or more I think? It is a really good fridge and freezer that I can recommend. I find that compared to my last fridge it is a bit of a TARDIS as in, it seems bigger on the inside. This fridge is really good quality and well thought out. I can fit my biggest stock pot on the top shelf or the bottom shelf. Glass shelves that are really strong and easy to keep clean. Perfectly thought out door space too, for big bottles and jars. The door space alone is just amazing compared to other fridges of this size. I keep my fresh herbs like cut flowers in jars of water in the door of the fridge and they last for weeks. I have occasionally found some frozen produce in the fridge section but to be fair, I think at the time I did not have the items in the fridge spaced very well and I had put fresh produce eg; lettuce and tender herbs basil and coriander right at the back of the top shelf which is the coldest part of the fridge and I have not found other items freezing there. The best thing is, this fridge runs very quietly it is almost silent. When it does run it is no bother at all. One time it did start making a vibrating humm sound that got a bit annoying. I searched high and low for the issue and found I had totally overloaded the door with jars of preserves, stock and soups that I had made. I had put all the heavy jars close to the handle side of the door and all the light weight items closer to the hinge / body of the fridge. I think this caused a bit of unbalance. So I put all the heavy items closer to the hinge / body of the fridge and the lighter items closer to the handle and the vibrating humm went away. I have a fridge thermometer which I use sometimes to make sure all is well. My old fridge regularly froze fresh produce which spoils quickly. My thermometer records high and low temperatures so I know what is going on in there. I can say the LG GT-515WDC is all good and works as intended. I have spent quite a long time with this fridge and highly recommend it. Mike.v
