My 9 year old Samsung TV has better picture quality and sound. Currys refused to take it back as we had taken it from the box, how they expect you to see if you are happy with it I don't know. I've had this TV for about a month and give it 4 stars, but could easily be 5 star review. The picture and sound are great. The upscaling functions fine. The processor seems a bit slow at times depending on what action is being taken with the TV. The remote needs some improvement. I use multiple headphones and the TV has some difficulty selecting the correct pair that is turned on in pairing mode and returning to optical output when bluetooth is disconnected. Depending on status of the optical device when turning the TV on, it won't select the sound bar for the audio output automatically and can't seem to power on the sound bar. . I have to manually use the remote to select optical from sound output options and manually turn on the sound bar. These are not major deficiencies, but can be annoying with the remote and when using different audio output devices. Those are my reasons for 4 star rating, but could easily be 5 star with a few improvements.

Disappointed, better TV,s for less money.

I ended up with the LG because my Hisense was faulty and no stock to replace. So I paid more money for the upgraded LG. To be honest I wish I didn’t bother. While I have nothing majorly wrong with the LG it has taken quite a bit to get used to working it all out when even my 7 Year old had worked the Hisense out within a couple of days.If I was to buy a TV again I would go with a Hisense over this LG. Better TV for less money in my opinion.

I'm writing this again because I forgot my stars classification.I purchased this TV 2 days ago. I immediately startrd setting it up as soon as got home. It's awesome. Sound and image quality is insane. I thought it was going to be slow because I read the comments here before deciding to purchase it. My advised to all of you saying it is slow, try to have a faster and better internet connection and once done connect it through Ethernet cable (RJ45). This TV works really amazing for me and can't be happier. Another advice, refer yourselves to the user's guide. Regards to you all.

After about 1 1/2 months with TV now it hasn't dazzled me quite like I wanted. First no user manual which is fine I suppose but what instructions were available were vague in providing information to access even if available so have been left trying to guess what to do and setup hasn't been easy. This made setup confusing and left me wondering if I was helping or hurting the TV. I even had to call LG directly for help while setting up the TV for the first time. Next, the HD isn't there. Not to say the TV isn't working and understanding that provided content streamed or broadcast to the TV may not be in 4K I am still left wondering if there is something I can do with the TV itself such as settings or calibration, etc. to improve the picture quality (see no user ...Ā MoreAfter about 1 1/2 months with TV now it hasn't dazzled me quite like I wanted. Not to say the TV isn't working and understanding that provided content streamed or broadcast to the TV may not be in 4K I am still left wondering if there is something I can do with the TV itself such as settings or calibration, etc. to improve the picture quality (see no user manual above) or that the TV may be defective. Guess I'll have to call LG again. Finally, the remote. One reason for this purchase was to hopefully reduce the number of remotes needed to watch what I wanted. That has not been the case. In purchasing a sound bar/wireless subwoofer package for the TV we had to disable the TV sound to prevent echoing which left us needing to use the remote supplied with the sound bar package. That's +1 for remotes. Also the TV remote is useless when trying to surf/change channels by entering a specific channel number or using the up/down channel arrow buttons because it defaults to input from over-the-air broadcasts which has very little in the way of selection. We had initially tried just watching content from our cable service through their "streaming" app which is difficult and inconvenient at best. Because of this we broke down and got a cable top box from the same cable provider to try to restore some level of convenience which has resulted in +1 remote as well. So now I'm using 3 remotes just to watch TV. We are trying to eliminate our Amazon Firestick remote but can't because we have HBO and Cinemax through Amazon and have't figured out how to transfer access to the HBO and Cinemax apps on the TV. This makes +4 remotes. Sure the response to that would be to get a universal remote, but that's another unexpected and unwanted expenditure to use this TV. I would only recommend tis TV to someone who is very tech savvy and already knows this stuff like the back of their hand.

Picture quality is phenomenal

I purchased the LG nano a few months ago. I waited to write a review until I was familiar with all of the features. I love this television. You have free channels and music. The speaker quality is very good for a tv, but I did hook up a sound bar and bass boost for quality and they work wonderfully together. No hesitations in dialogue as happens sometimes when using two. The sound plays together simultaneously through the tv and sound system. There are several settings for color quality according to the action being performed on the TV. They are very easy to navigate through if like me you play video games and need a different resolution for them then you do when watching a movie. The smart remote is excellent. You can program it to access your refrigerator if you choose. The options are almost unlimited. I also sent off for the speaker that was offered with my purchase and it goes everywhere I do outside now. It’s the best quality handheld speaker I’ve ever owned and the others had a brand name that started with a b and ended with an se so this one being better quality really says something about it. I love this television more every day seriously. I’ll work to make the payments and be glad to use it daily.

This structural defect is concerning as it suggests that the TV may not have been manufactured to the highest quality standards expected from LG. The bent screen not only affects the aesthetic appearance of the television but could also potentially lead to further issues down the line.I have had these issues assessed by LG technicians, and to my disappointment, I was informed that both the dirty screen effect and the bent screen are considered ā€œnormalā€ deformations for LG TVs. I find this explanation unacceptable. As a loyal customer who owned 5 lg tvs in the past 10 years has chosen LG for its reputed quality and performance, I believe these issues should be addressed, not dismissed as normal.3 weeks on and no resolutions given. Something I never expect from a reputed company like LG. ā€œDisappointedā€ is an understatement when describing my experience with this tv LG customer service.

Purchase and delivery went well. The package is heavy, its worth getting it carried all the way. Picture clarity is perfect, displays real 4K very well. Seems to upscale non-4K quite well too.Movements are very smooth with out shudder. The LED backlighting may not be as good as the best TVs however when TV is located away from sunlight this is not really noticeable. In my opinion it's not worth paying a lot extra just for better LED backlighting. The money could be better spent on better sound or better furniture to complete the big screen experience.

Sharp picture quality BUT very poor viewing angles

In general it is a very good TV, but (Important) ONLY if you going to sit directly on the front of it, because screen has very bad viewing angles. By very bad I mean you can still see everything on the screen, but the colours and contrast drastically will be washed out if you not siting directly on the front of it. Even looking at a small angle will make the picture washed out. So if you planning to invite family/friends to watch something and everyone will be siting in random places this TV is not for you. Even looking at a small angle will make the picture washed out. So if you planning to invite family/friends to watch something and everyone will be siting in random places this TV is not for you. Other thing that I didn’t like was the user interface. It is not easy to navigate to find the settings you want, but I’m sure that after when you figure out where the things are hidden, operating will not be a problem anymore. The overall system also feels a little bit sluggish. I mean I connected TV to Virgin Tivobox and when changing the channels there was a slight delay. So you pressed the button to change a channel and have to wait like a second to actually display that channel. It wasn’t a big problem for me in general, but my old TV was much more responsive. Talking about the good things, I have to say that I was very impressed with how the picture is sharp on that TV. It looks very good. I was wondering of how good the upscaling to 4K will be like and I have to say that it was great. Colors are also very good. To be honest for me poor viewing angles are something that I don’t want to have on TV because I have a few different sits around the room and some of them are not directly opposite the screen. So I had to return the TV to the shop. Btw, I was trying to replace my old 40 inch Sony TV (KDL-40WD653) which I bought 8 years ago and I have to say that I’m very disappointed with the fact that current low to mid range TVs have terrible viewings angles. My old Sony TV back on 2016 also was low-mid range TV and the viewings angles are fantastic compared to current LED screens. For me it looks like the TV technology moved one step forward and two steps back. Now to get a good viewing angles you need OLED screen which is much more expensive and also can have ā€˜screen burning’ issue and on the top of that the screen usually is very reflective and ideally should not be used in light rooms because all the reflections and sun make you difficult to see the picture. So if you don’t want spend too much money on OLED you are left only with LED/QLED and all of them have poor viewing angles. So there is not much choice.
